The saddest thing is, Ghanaian rice is sold expensive in foreign market as organic rice and we Ghanaians don’t value it😢
Im proud of you lady ..keep it up
Ghanaians are still sleeping. In fact we are snoring
What the lady is saying is very true because of Kennedy agarpong I am bold know kaakyire watching u from Libya Benghazi
This the kind of interview i like to watch something that makes sense and that could me from nowhere to somewhere thanks so much for sharing this interview with us GOD BLESS YOU SIR
Why is it always that the government has to provide equipment for farmers to use? What about the farmers who don't invest in equipment to use. It's your responsibility as a farmer to make sure your farm can function by investing in it. Not everything the government has to provide. I always watch these videos , and Ghanaians are always saying it is the government fault. You can also rent equipment from the private sector as farmers here in Europe who can't afford to buy expensive equipment.
U have said it all.some claim to make about 50 to 60 thousand cedis per harvest,5 farmers coming to get can easily get financial support from any bank to get them some of this machine.
Some times I don't understand our farmers.
It's the same reason they like government jobs. They want to have an option to 'slack' without being held accountable. Imagine govt workplace; people get to work late and leave early. When it rains, some don't even bother to show up. On Fridays mostly, they leave very early to attend f-u-n-e-r-a-l. (they can't do that in the private sector). I guess renting equipment from the private sector will have some 'strict' rules to follow. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing the govt can help with is to stop/restrict imports of items GH farmers are producing. (developed countries do that all the time)
What is the use of the Ministry of Agriculture? Is food security not part of core government duty? Why do you think food in Europe is more affordable than Ghana? It is not a coincidence. Government of Africa should be responsible for one's. The government makes a lot of money from farmers, yet farmers don't have the right to ask for government support? Government providing machines to farmers will end up making more money for renting little cheaper to farmers. How difficult is that? Some of you people hate to hear government as if there is no government in Ghana.
Agric machinery is a big business in Ghana but many don't know
Well done my dear ❤❤❤
Those dimples on both checks are so charming
This lady wiser than whoever is positioned as minister for agric
Agreed 💯
Farmers must occupy that position
Why don't you appoint her as the minister instead. Why do we like to introduce politics into every discussion.
Elsewhere, it's entrepreneurs who go around sniffing for problems to solve that brings money along. But here, everything we want government to be involved. Education, health, housing, roads, communications, water, etc are government's obligations but with how much to go round all these with the resources available. Let Ghanaians stop indulging in frivolities; big cars, houses and excessive frolics like wild parties. Investment, investment, investment is what we all need to get into. Am not denying government's responsibility.
DJ big thanks for this interviews watching from Wolverhampton UK
Bless u Nyame 🙏🏼
Our leaders should take the country into agriculture direction. The only way Ghana can have it peace
Those politicians are not leaders! They are simply criminals and thieves.
Thank u DJ.we will like to be seeing practical farmers
God bless you sister
Dj Nyaami, Bless up senior man. 🙏
God bless you my dear,it's because of our leaders selfish that's why we are suffering.even this alone can employ people to stop the hardship in Ghana.
God bless you DJ Nyame🙏👍👍
Not the money dear, a. Interested in farming we have lands in our hometown but if you try to farm they will kill you
Please admittedly you can not do rice farming single handedly.
2nd your workers be they are two or three would be doing some activities on the farm over a period for which the labour should be quantified.
H
Even during harvesting you need a harvester machine which should also be quantified.
My submission is that you have left a lot of inputs making it look so simple with less money input.
Milling the rice after harvest to remove the hask not mentioned.
Protein content wise is good but quality output in packaging and marketing. Etc etc etc.
I communicating from Asutsuare where rice farming have been on going.
I am into mango farming in this Area.
Let me also say at Asutsuare the canals in the area he's in irrigating the rice farm.
Bro start from little and build on it. It’s not going to be easy but consistency, focusing, sacrificing, blending with hardworking will by elevate you
Well said.😎👍🏿
Bless 🙌 up DJ

God bless you lady farmer
Beautiful empress
Recently, i was watching on Utv Ayekoo program where farmers were complaining bitterly about market. They have hundreds of bags but no market available.
The same local rice.
I wonder hmm some say they can’t meet demand n some say no market
I guess location n lack of knowledge matters
This will motivate people
Nice one
DJ God bless you too
I like this interview
Wow very beautiful beads
Your intelligent woman sister
Tua tua !!!
The average Ghanaian fears his hometown
What I don't understand is that the two important sectors of the Ghanaian economy have over the years been given to uneducated, such as transport and farming. That's why we have lots of accidents on our roads and food waste from source. Ghanaians leaders are incompetent, lack critical thinking and laziness.
You will be my partner from next year
I need the girl number
