The only new music that I'll listen to are ones with an old school feel to it. A lot of this modern sound for today's generation doesn't appeal to me. A lot of today's music (mainly mainstream) sound downright terrible. I just prefer underground music tbh.

Usually I’m like “people still make this music 🙄” to people who say this about older music, but you’re right - it’s really really difficult to find authentic new music like this
The only new music that I'll listen to are ones with an old school feel to it. A lot of this modern sound for today's generation doesn't appeal to me. A lot of today's music (mainly mainstream) sound downright terrible. I just prefer underground music tbh.

When you do something so well done that it still impresses people 75 years later
A fast pace strummed jive tends to do that, it's hard to accidentally not like this music when the 1930's were masters of harmonies, beats, and phrasing.
So from 1:42 to 2:22 the dude transcends 40s music, and somehow gets into a 90s rap groove. Very impressive.
