If anyone wanted to know:
The locomotives used in the movie were borrowed from two railroads. The 2 AWVR locomotives, 777 and 767, were GE AC4400CW's borrowed from the Canadian Pacific Railway. 777 was played by CP 9782 and 9777. 767 was played by CP 9782 (during 777's 9777) and 9751. The other locomotives, such as the 1206 and the EMD SD40-2's, were borrowed from Wheeling and Lake Erie. 1206 was played by W&LE 6353 and 6354. 7375 was W&LE 6352, also playing as AWVR 5624. Lastly, 7346 was W&LE 6351. W&LE 6352 also played as AWVR 5607 (Brewster yard) and AWVR 5580.
And although it played a relatively minor role, SWP 2002 is used as RSC 2002 in the movie.
I'm trying not to be stereotypical but, it's good to see that some other people from other countries look at our locomotives and say, "this looks good." And not make fun of us. Thanks man.
Unstoppable was a great movie. And it was based on a true story. There was a runaway CSX (road # 8888) train incident, which was what Unstoppable was based on.
This was a good video, I love Unstoppable. Plus, don't worry, the E-Brake gets us all, it happens. Be happy you drove a badass Dash 9 👍
MicsØ right, my mistake. Those engines can get confusing
TheBigBoy4014 TheKingoftheRails. I heard that one

I got one rule.
One rule only:
You gonna do somethin' you do it right,
You dont know how to do it, just ask me. Alright?
i got it
my train your just a guy driving it
AWVR unit 1206 is a EMD SD40-2 locomotive.
Its true you can distinguish for the cabin style
Yeah
The unstoppable is a phenomenal train movie and it was nicely done based on the true story. The story behind it of the incident was the EMD SD40-2 CSX 8888. The locomotive is still in service as the SD40-3 #4389
13:08 This line is accurate to the movie given what this train did throughout the film
I love the trains keep it up dude👏
Also I know how you feel about the locomotive, it's hard to describe the feeling, and you aren't a terrible train driver, you were just learning, simple mistake it's all right.
Really cool i like all the trains you have for this video
Good job lazer I hope you still grow strong on TH-cam
NATE_THE _DANK_GAMER I agree with you mate
Do what you do keep slaying
Great video. You're the best, laserjet.
I ♥ your train Simulator episodes!! Make more TS2017 races!!
I love that movie it's incredible how real it looked apart from the dash 9 not stopping due to it's alerters but a pretty good movie
Its actually a true story and great video by the way
THATS A AWSOME ENGINE LAZER JET
Another great Viedeo from my Favorite TH-camr
wow thank you my friend
While the locomotive at the back of the train is an SD40-2 (like 1206 in the movie), the two engines you use at the front are ES44 diesels while the lead locos in the movie were AC4400CW engines.
Did you know unstopable's loosely based off of real events if you want to learn more about it look up the crazy 8's incident.
Yeah. The lead locomotive was CSX 8888.
AWVR is a real American rail company. The movie Unstoppable is actually based on a true story. 777 was a runaway train in Pennsylvania in 2005 and the movie shows what actually happened
AWVR is made up and it was CSX 8888 not 777
also the unit 1206 was from the Wheeling & Lake Erie as well as the 2 grey units that judd stewart was driving. i did a job shadow program at the W&LE headcorters in Brewster ohio back in 2014, and at that time, behind the shops, they had the noses and long hoods from those units.
CrackedAmoeba Gaming that unstoppable train actually happpend
Josiah Watkins. 777 is real. At least not until a train was coated with 777s paint. Same thing with 1206. They're real because they are trains with the same paint the trains in the movie have. But they didn't cause havoc in real life. They didn't do anything in real life but just acting and being use to haul freight and maybe passengers I think. CSX 8888 was the real culprit who was causing trouble.
No it was CSX 8888 (crazy 8s)
Those 2 units on flat ground could haul ~20000 imperial tons. You'd need to set those locomotives in a distributed power config but then you'll be able to handle a bit more but not much more.
I like the intro very good *claps*
I live about 45 miles from where the real life even took place here in Pennsylvania and where the movie was filmed as they recreate the real life event for the movie. The Biggest event to take place in my area. No it's not a real railroad, the actual railroad was the Pennsylvania and Western New York Railroad.
Paul Haines that’s what AWVR stands for...
Edit: no it’s not, but AWVR is a real company.
@@friendlyfire2615 Awvr isn’t a real company bruh
@@JadenGGvam Do you ever just come back to an ancient comment of yours to see how much of a dumbass you were? Today is that day. Whatever I was smoking to say AWVR is a real company I definitely don't need more of it.
According to the purple windscreen and sound of horn, the 777 and 767 should be the ES44AC in Railworks.
That's the polar express number 1:53
1225 is the POLAR EXPRESS number 1206 is the right number
Wait is it actually the polar express number
@@BlackFoxEdits yes
That actually painted all the AWVR locomotives specially for the movie. They were repainted from Canadian Pacific
They actually leased a ton of freight cars and locomotives to fake an entire "AWVR" (Alleghany & West Virginia) railroad. It's actually insane how much they repainted. However there is an "AVR" (Allegheny Valley Railroad) which is similar as they did lease engines from there as well for the movie (other engines came from WL&E and Canadian Pacific).
AWVR stands for Atlantic and West Virginia Railroad but, it is not a real railroad. The locomotives used in the movie were Canadian Pacific ES44AC locomotives and Wheeling and Lake Erie (I think) Sd40-2s all trains in the film were real. Even the one that flipped on its side and exploded.
Tuna Garol my mistake. I forgot it was Allegheny
Also 777 and 767 where ac440cws
Scp Tf2 oops. Didn't notice that. They look so similar...
@@Extracord I. Do. Know you moron dash 9s do not have trucks like that do you even know what 777 was originally? It was CP 9777 look it up it’s a AC4400 where in the cab does it say dash 9
Nice man.........RS3L whistle on the ES44AC
I watched unstoppable it was a cool movie and I subscribed :) loved your videos
LaZeR JET en Trains Simulator 2017 ese tren de la película Imparable AWVR 777 Uno de mis Trenes Favoritos Muy Bueno
La Bocina del Tren AWVR 777.
777,767 and 1206 are the best engine ever
Do a speed test with 777 and 1206
Dogey Train good idea
Dogey Train j.
Dogey Train yes is good idea
Yeah with this train
Dogey Train 33333
I seen one rare 3.5 mile wide mixed freight with Boxcars, Flatcars, different Tankers, Hoppers, and many Autoracks it was crazy with 25 different sd70s ace, ah, and ma's all in the newest paint scheme
Love the details
Though these locomotive looks like ES44s, it is actually an AC44, just not the type used in the movie. These are AC44EVs
14:00 looks like unstoppable, was just stopped
*insert beginning of CSI Miami Theme Song Here*
Wow man it's very good video
And a another success video made bye our daily train expert
thank you
It was Molten Phenol tanker cars called Prixton Chemical.
More like trash chemical
The loco ure driving is the GE es44ac but the dash 9 was the base start for the es44 or GEVO series of locomotives
Can you do another video with these trains but reenact your favorite scenes from the movie
i just noticed that 7705 and 7603 are actually es44acs but its so hard to tell that some might not even notice
AWVR is a real company! :))))
777 and 767 are AC4400CWs. And 1206 is an SD40-2.
Its not a coaster, that trains under power...
Damn right and that power is LaZeR JET
Unstoppable is my all time favorite movie!btw the longest train ever pulled was by 5...I think dash nines? The 5 locomotives pulled an train 5 miles long!
Another thing, Polar express VS 777
That song reminds me of the lego city undercover
Wow that a cool train
1225 actually is the number of the Pere Marquette
yea that movie was so cool :)
Ya it is very good movie
Do more DASH7 please.its such a good video 😊😊
You're not an idiot. I always mess up. Even if I haven't even played trainz 12 or train simulator franchise. You're not useless. Just let the train drive. Just make sure you have a back up when 777 finally gets what it wanted. Total destruction.
I live in the US the load record was 43 miles long with about maby 20 Dash 9
20? Oh shit that was long and powerful
Lazer jet what route is that and how did you get the locos
If you think the movie is 10 out of 10 like
Well, movie is great, but for what he spoiled it? Many people have seen this film, if somebody haven't see, look, and you won't kill anyone (if he/she spoiling film)
That happened in real life and it was in the USA.It was in my state, Pennsylvania.
nice reskin! although the engine used for this reskin is an Es44, not an AC4400
and don't AC4400s come with a safety system that stops the train if a driver is not in it?
Awvr is a real railroad company that makes trains.
WoW rEaLlY?
@@kadenrobinson7067 a lil late but yea i googled it its real
great video, by the way triple 7 was carrying 8 cars of molten pheonol, you should try to do a remake of the movie, it will probably be hard but if you do it, it will be great
Loved that movie
That (BOMB) is actually a highly explosive liquid.
Sanding in front of the train is just like the movie.
Later jet in the movie 1206 was trying to stop 777 and it coupled to 777’s last cargo car
Can you maybe recreate the movie using 777 and 1206? Maybe watch the movie again and use your train skills to recreate the movie in Train Simulator? I'd love that
Lazer you should do a race 7777 vs 1206 pls love your vids see you tomorrow!
I love this trains too
Fun fact so you know, the longest American train haul was consisted of 682 freight cars.
SCP 682 MOMENT 😳😳😳🚨🚨🚨
The sand switch lays sand in front of the wheels if the track is too slippery
Another good video!!
thanks man
Yes Iove unstoppable
Just a fun fact Unstoppable was based off of a real life runaway train known as The Crazy 8's incident
I have an idea for you Lazer! You can do a video with Triple 7 AND Thomas the tank engine. The concept of it I'll leave to you!
How will they connect?
777:Knuckle/Janney coupler
Thomas: Chains&Hook
Maybe chains and knuckle?
train simulator doesn't give a fuck unless its a custom train. I've coupled a fucking 4-4-0 and an dash 9, to a fucking 0-4-0 from Falmouth.
I mean IRL.
Unless it's scenario creator it won't be coupled either
you got me there.
lol also awvr (short for Allegheny west Virginia railroad) is sadly a fictional railroad company it's supposed to be a copy of an actual company i think it's union pacific? not too sure but love the video great job! keep it up!
You should do a remake of Unstoppable but this time with everybody's favorite number 1, THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE!
Johnny Klebitz no just just no
Yes just yes.
Johnny Klebitz. No way. Thomas would be a hero, but don't you know what 777 did to the lash up in the movie? 777 Derailed the lash up and jumped the switch. And Thomas wouldnt run long. Steam engines require coal and water to operate. So before Thomas gets too far hell run bone dry of coal and water. Mostly coal because water is used for steam and braking as well. I learned the water break in Trainz Simulator HD. I STILL HAVE IT ON MY ANDROID.
Colby Lawson Just think about it, everyone's favorite number 1 Thomas The Tank Engine on a mission.
Johnny Klebitz I 👌
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LaZeR JET, in the movie, the number was 777 and 767 but that both number is 7705 and 7603
Plus I've seen unstoppable and this movie is my favorite kind of movie
The AWVR locomotives now work for Canadian Pacific
Lazer jet 777 and 767 came from Canada/ Canadian pacific
Unstoppable was made on the same year when I was born
BTW those are actually gevos not dash 9s
unionpacific7564 the type of engine in Unstoppable is an AC4400CW
The Weather Man yes I know but the reskin is a gevo
unionpacific7564 yeah but you said that they were Dash 9's when they are really AC44's
He's probably calling them dash 9s because the original engine you use for the Reskin is the BNSF Dash 9
AC44CW
Cool video look up spirit of Union Pacific 1943 it colorful
"It's just a red switch", let's see what it does😂
how do you get those? im trying to make train simulator unstoppable. also,i love your vids.
Go look on railworksamerica.com and look up awvr and it should be a reskin. that's how I got mine to work
It wasnt Carying a bomb, it was a Highly Flamable Liquid!
Oskar0110 he was only referring to the liquid to a bomb as it's dangerous and if something happens something bad and big can happen
At 5:50 American locomotives can pull as much as they want they just need more engines.
Nice
You said you liked the model of 1206. 1206 is a SD40-2, and the less upgraded one is a GP38. And also I have seen Unstoppable and it’s one of my favorites.
They were carry in hazardous materials in the movie
That's a real company of train
You should recreate the unstoppable movie (having the throttle up all the way without stopping)
Coolest video ever
The EMD F40PH/F40PHR locomotive's are the best to.
When i saw this movie as a kid I cried
unless you were a very immature 11 year old, you are still a kid. Depends on when you saw it though.
You should do a spider test with 777
1225 is also the number for the Pere Marquette
I heard there’s going to be a video game based on the movie coming out on November 10th of this year
