I had an existential crisis not too long ago but it was the opposite of the reddit guy. I thought about how we are all mortal and will die someday, and there's nothing we can do about it. Can confirm these sorts of thoughts are not fun at all, but it's comforting knowing this is not an uncommon experience
Goodness me. I feel bad for that user. Even though suffering and bad things happen in life, I still like living a full life and I'm grateful for being born and experiencing the happy things I enjoy in life, no matter how down I would feel sometimes.
I won't go into details because it's a long story. This guy was a 20 something years ago reddit user who suffered from severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia. He was active in gaming subreddits, and hasn't caused problems in anywhere. Until one day he went insane, created multiple alt accounts and started talking to himself, repeating questionable and disturbing phases. It got to the point where he was banned from every sub he was in. In 2018/19 he took his own life PS: talking to himself = replying to the comments he made himself
That quantum immortality theory would actually be a pretty cool horror series. I can definitely see it being a really cool show Edit: Just realised Re:Zero is basically quantum immortality

This situation wasnt caused by the theory. This is cleary just someone taking a simple thought experiment far too seriously as a direct result of untreated mental illness, thats all this is.
Good video but I didn't like that you used the term "unalive". It always sounded disrespectful to me when it's used in something serious like this and it never sounded right with me. But that's just me =/ and I understand why you had to use it.
