BeyondATC is the only one currently have dynamic SID STAR and runway, but SI uses AI to process your words, which rarely misunderstood what you said, while BeyondATC sometimes have difficulty, that means BeyondATC requires you to say almost exactly what it expects (and in a way that MS voice recognition works, good luck if you have a heavy accent), while SI is fairly flexible.

There is the option in Beyond ATC to use premium voices for ATC and standard voices for traffic, this will lower the cost significant

So here are my initial observations. I would say if you just want general ATC practice, want to keep costs at a minimum, or maybe you do not fly often, then BATC is the way to go using Basic voices ONLY.
If you want more realistic voices and responses, want to keep costs standardized, and fly a lot, then SI is the way I would go.
Thats my personal opinion and short term observation

with batc, it is planned that you can separate premium and free regarding atc and ai aircraft. you can have premium when talking to you and basic for all ai to ai conversations. so you won’t feel alone in the skies.

I like the "live ATC chatter" feature from other users at sayintentions, that will make experience so much more realistic. But never will I pay 30$ per month, I do a handful of VFR flights per month, not worth it.

I have also been using Sayintentions for the past two months. They continue to make steady progress. It's great on VFR flights, and I just completed a perfect IFR flight in Mexico. Yes, the monthly subscription is a negative. I think they will need to develop an option or lower the price once it catches on. I am skeptical of BATC as they have put out lots of hyped videos (traffic injection, math is hard, a survey if they should release even though is still not ready, etc). I like their pricing model, but not sure how good it will be.

Member of the BeyondATC-Team here :) We have created the survey since many people wanted the program in early-access without traffic injection and we wanted to see how many people want this. But this doesn't mean that the product was already ready for it. We can release it without traffic injection but still we want to provide you with a stable version and thats why our beta testers are in non-stop testing mode at the moment.

The basic voices are a big step up from built in Microsoft sounds. They will be just fine for me. Also basic beyond arc still gets cloud based voice recognition that tends to be better than other local voice recognition at recognizing what the pilot is saying (word to word). Of course say intentions let’s ChatGPT process the words and the meaning .
They are different products because of this. I would say beyondATC is perfect for what I need even for basic voices. I’ll splurge on orenium from time to time. I fly very little. Like once a week normally. Maybe I’ll fly more once I get beyondATC, but based on how I fly now, I could never make say intentions worth it for me for me at 4 hours of flying a month at most I currently do

Thank you for the information. I am not able to fly often and sometimes will go several weeks without the time. Premium with traffic will be my choice unless something changes that allows more flights.
