In order to avoid Toronto's merciless, blistering heat and humidity in July and August I have in the past several years taught English in Lima during those months. My Spanish has improved and I have found that the Rosary in Spanish has improved my vocabulary significantly. As well, the beauty of the prayers is inspiring unto itself.
Thank you very much for this recording. As a Legion of Mary member we visit Spanish speaking families in our parish and bring the Pilgrim Virgin Statue to reside in their home for a week. While there we pray the rosary in Spanish. As a non-Spanish speaker is has been a challenge to keep up with the pace and pronunciation. But the pace of this recording is slow enough and the pronunciation clear enough that I have been able to learn the prayers and can now confidently participate in the recitation of the rosary. I have been using this recording with visual aid to learn Spanish. My thinking is that I know the prayers of the rosary so well that reciting and reading them in Spanish will help me learn the meanings of my recitations and appropriate conjugations. So far so good!
