Great outreach work. Heard about Ruby but was never privilege to visit. Your video captures some historic facts of the area.Has its own history of early pioneering and Uncle Shamir gave a rich account of how it all started and developed. One of the best kept secret. Simple life nestled in nature. What more can anyone ask for. Thanks for sharing.Allah Hafiz.
Makes me remember when I used to work in Ruby backdam many many years ago Had to walked in and out, that's lots of changes and development from then to now 👍 PS, thank you so much for helping those in need 👍
It must be a very beautiful and rewarding experience for you throughout this journey and be able to assist in whatever way you can, along with the generous donors. It's a nice place and I hope that in time, it's going to be more development and accessibility for the residents. Uncle and Aunty by the school should get a community group where everyone can assist in whatever way they can. One example would be to help with the cleaning of the wood ants, the bird vines since uncle isn't able to do so because I'm sure anyone would be benefiting from those fruit trees. Jonsey is a good inspiration. He has shown tremendous perseverance in taking care of Arianna. Her friend is wonderful to be allowing her to stay over whenever needed. I wish the entire Ruby Backdam residents a vibrant and productive community in the near future 🙏 ❤❤❤💯💯💯💪💪🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for your comment. I was surprised at the development in Ruby Backdam. You’re right, the ants and the bird vine need to be addressed. Jonesy is trying but as his age and with health issues, he can’t do much.
Dear Shabana, dear God this video touched my Heart, such a gorgeous area wooooow, i looooove the view really beautiful, it saaaaad how that Elderly man is living with his Daughter, that house,is not a home, honestly,Gods watching too and Iknow he will find some One to Help them, another thing the School is cute but they teach the kids to sweeep and help maintain the School Yard, it will help them learn and be independent , loooove the fruit treees, good road, GodisGood, hoping to come to Guyana from Abroad, ♥️🙏😇🧑🦰🇬🇾
I love what you do, but we have to take care of our Guyanese citizens first. Too many old people and GT families need the help. Venzees , are taking our resources and jobs away.
Thank you for your comment. But I am taking care of our own people. In this case, the Venezuelans are living among the Guyanese and I can’t leave them out
@@theshabnashow it’s true , Guyanese people have always been hospitable and caring ppl. When I went back I still see a lot of Guyana ppl in poverty, and the old ppl who built the country shouldn’t have to suffer.. Thanks for making a difference. The burden should not be on you.. Thank you for all what you do..It’s not easy….Is there away I can contact you..And
@@rajandseema123 Thank you so much, I try to highlight it as well as to make a different. But of course, I don’t do it alone, I rely on donors as well. You’re absolutely correct about the poverty here and about the conditions of the elderly people. Please feel free to contact me on: 592-608-7116
There are no modern infrastructure to support government service in many areas of the country. We should think there is where some of the funds are going
They are not poor..they are lazy and want to sit in Hammock and collect oil money.... Oil money is for the development of the country first ...creating employment and tourism the the people will get what they want...

Why are people so poor in guyana depite being an oil exporter
Not everyone in Guyana is poor. That’s not a reflection of the entire country
