One of the very few modern artists that actually sings and doesn’t use playback. Bishop Briggs is a vocal goddess and that is very clear for everybody.
Yes huntyyyy! She is right up there with Jessie J, who's probably the most underrated vocalist of this generation! Bishop is such a vocal powerhouse and I LOVE that she is so versatile too!

Everyone's insulting her because of the way she moves. They'd rather we go back to the days of Britney Spears where she just dances while lip syncing. I see a woman getting into it and adding a little passion to it. It's not always easy to for everyone to have a strong stage presence and still have a strong voice.
Christopher Sikora I honestly just feel like some people are better at dancing and singing simultaneously than others. I'd rather see/hear this than see someone lip syncing while dancing. She looks and sounds like she is actually singing. That part where is almost yelps HAS TO BE LIVE. I like the song either way.

I agree. I'd rather see someone singing for real than not being able to sing at live because you can't dance and sing live at the same time. Her dancing is more like a rock band's dancing, like, she's doing it but it doesn't look rehearsed. It also lets her actually sing live. If you're seeing a singer that isn't singing- why are you paying for that? Makes no sense to me.

If you burn her for the way she moves you can also rant about Girls like Sylvan esso, MO, Fka twigs, Rubblebucket, and what the hell, probably 20 other very talented artists. I saw her perform in person about a year and half ago in Scottsdale, AZ. She put on an amazing show and her energy was off the charts.
Great power and emotion in her performance. Anyone else noticed the 2 seconds of composure needed after she sang the last words. It's like she needed to put the anger back in the box and become human again. I wouldn't say she was 'dancing', her body was venting anger. Amazing.

I went to see her live with a friend after only hearing river and I was so so. Oh my goodness she's freaking unbelievably amazing. I've seen many performers that are "pop" and let me tell you they don't hold a candle to this girl, she isn't a star she's a damn galaxy

I love her energy. She's so passionate while she's singing you can tell she means every word of what she is singing. Also her voice is so powerful I love the dynamics in this live performance how she easily went from singing softly to singing loud and bold with ferocious passion and attitude that was awesome.

I don't understand the negativity in reply to her song. First of all, even if you think it sounds like something you've heard before, you can still recognize her vocal skill and the excellent arrangement. Perhaps it might occur to you to think about the trends in music and how they reflect culture. Secondly, what is the point of listening only to things which please you? None. You learn nothing. And if something doesn't please you so what? It's a few minutes and if you have an open mind, you learn something.
Does complaining really mean so much to you and give you so much, that you must come complain about a song you're willingly listening to? Really? Are you pleased with yourself? So you don't enjoy it. Fine. Smile and say, I'm not much of a fan, but thank you for sharing your talent. I know someone who might enjoy this song, and then pass it along to someone who listens to "everything else out there just like it."

Wow... What an AWEsome performance! So electrifying, every bit and every word runs through my veins. Can't stop listening to it and getting goosebumps every time. There is something shamanic in that performance, she is really channeling deep into her soul. Greatest live performance I 've seen in a while. So surprised to see something like that on this show.
