Do not forget that Portuguese "eat" their vegetables in soups.

Great conversation! What program did you use to learn Portuguese? I'm making a commitment to do it. After living in a small apartment in Lisbon we started looking to buy across the river, but ruled it out and found a house 30 km north of Lisbon, but in Lisbon municipality...AMAZING!

The program is called Português Língua de Acolhimento (PLA). The classes are free and run by the Portuguese government.

Can you share what town this was about? Could not comprehend the area of Portugal for reference she moved to. Thank you.

65 square metres is a tiny house??? 😂😂😂 North Americans are so funny! Last time I was in a 50 square metre place, that was a palace! And it was 15 years ago. Since then I haven't had more than 45, and that is plenty.

Thanks for weighing in. One of the themes of these videos is the cultural differences North Americans experience emmigrating to Portugal.
