The defender is rarely planting because who is gonna take a charge from his size? Giannis has more explosive power and uses the shoulder bump and euro step. Half the time he uses the Euro to collide, which imo should be called a charge, but same thing...what defender is setting a charge against Giannis? He would run their ass over. I'm not a ref, but both of those guys are incredibly difficult to defend. It's why teams try to rattle them with physical fouls. Unfortunately for them, Embiid is an excellent FT shooter and Giannis has improved.
