- Amid raging controversy over Pakistani actors’ participation in Bollywood, actor Nana Patekar’s comments on the issue has gone viral. In the wake of Uri attack and Pakistan’s denial to control terrorists operating from its territory, there have been demands to ban Pakistani actors in Bollywood.
Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirmann Sena had even threatened to beat up Pakistani actors if they didn’t leave. On Friday, actor Salman Khan raked up the controversy by expressing his support for Pakistan actors. He had said that they were just actors, not terrorists.
