Cauliflower steak with mushrooms! Simple and delicious!

- Ingredients:
cauliflower
vegetable oil
Butter - 15 g.
Fry the cauliflower over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Mushrooms - 500 g.
Onion - 1 pc.
vegetable oil
Salt
Black pepper
Sour cream - 100 g.
Water - 50 g.
(Enough mushroom filling for about 4 cauliflower steaks)
Mozzarella cheese - 100 g.
Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.

I wanted to add that I cooked this recipe about a week ago for me and my husband and one of our vegetarian daughters. I made it with the mushrooms for my daughter and me, and for my husband, I substituted the mushrooms with asparagus cuz he doesn't like mushrooms. Both versions were great! Thank you again!

I know personally numerous people (plus have heard a thousand testimonies) of people getting off diabetic meds and beating it by going Carnivore. Just saying. Seed oils are a killer!! Carbs and sugar is also. My friend was off his meds after 30 days, per the Dr!

Very delicious and healthy recipe 👍! I would substitute onions for leeks with some garlic. Maybe even leave out the sour cream and just saute the mushrooms with garlic and parsley. But that thick cut of cauliflower as the base is a great idea!
Sub Greek yogurt for sour cream 😋

@@jamesc37 Cauliflower is not so bad, if prepared in creative ways. I tried steaming then pureed it with some chicken stock to the consistency of mashed potatoes. Put a steak on top of it and it was way more tasty than plain mashed potatoes. As a matter of fact I'm air chilling my steak right now to have with my cauliflower mash tonight✅️.

I like healthy and no meat food, but no matter how many people tell me calliflower is good as rice or meat, no matter how many times I try it, the taste of calliflower is always there.
