  • The campground power pedestal is the lifeline for your motorhome and RVs. We decided to add the Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C to Oliver
Progressive Industries' Hardwired Electrical Management System (EMS) provides full RV surge and electrical protection against all adverse power conditions.
Whenever electrical power falls below 104 volts or rises above 132 volts, the EMS automatically shuts down power to the RV.
Once the electrical power rises above 104-volts, or below the 132-volt level, the time delay indicator flashes for the preset time and then automatically restores power to the RV. Remote digital readout features built-in surge fault indication, amperage meter, voltage meter, frequency meter, 3-mode surge protection, reverse polarity protection, open neutral/open ground protection, lost/open neutral protection, and AC frequency protection. Factory setting 15 seconds but can be adjusted to a 2 minute 16 seconds (136 seconds) delay for A/C Protection. Frequency Protection (Low less than 51Hz, High greater than 69HZ).
Remote display: Scrolls continuously through all of the power source information: voltage, current, frequency, error codes, and previous errors. Each reading is displayed for 2 seconds. Modular design for easy repair, eliminating the removal of the unit.

Did you have it connected to 30AMP when testing? Reason I ask is I just installed mine but I am using a 15amp to 30 amp adapter and getting an E2 error which would indicate an open ground. However all my grounds are installed correctly.

No when I tested mine, I used a standard 15 amp circuit to a 30amp adapter. If you have a receptacle tester, I would check the house outlet and the extension cord (if using one), if both of those check good, then the issue is in the PMS. They have a great tech support team 919-267-6964. Best of luck, let us know how it goes.
