Hey buddy great video. Definitely an awesome figure. I love how many different sets of hands and gadgets they give you with them. It's just all around cool. I don't own a hot toys figure yet but hopefully one day. My favorite Batman movie is Batman Returns first one I ever went to to see with my parents so it's kind of nostalgic to me. But I got a lot of McFarland figures and Mecca figures but hot toys are kind of a step up so maybe one day LOL hope you're having a wonderful day my friend take care
Keep your eye out on eBay, keep saving a little money every month, and you'll get there. There's a great Batman Returns Hot Toys set with both Batman and Bruce Wayne that looks amazing. Hot Toys also just released a newer Batman 89 figure, so I'm sure they'll do a new Returns figure in the near future.
You probably already know but just checking you are aware of the batman unmasked exhibition in Manchester/London at the moment well worth going was pleasantly surprised with the selection of props they had riddler Mr freeze and poisy ivy outfits also!
Yes, I've got tickets for the London version in October. Can't wait. It looks amazing from the photos I've seen. Will try and do a video if it's possible.
😁 Cracks knuckles....enjoys writing this one....OK! Now, at last, THE MAN HAS HIS GRAIL! This is one of the things I am sure you started this collection to acquire! I mean, LOOK AT HIM! I know, he is not that posable. I get that. And, I am not the best person to speak because I spent two months making a custom one that is posable. From a model kit. And, I passed on getting this figure (I do want the Robin though! and am getting the McFarlane Robin for sure!) But...but...this has to be a great moment for you! I enjoyed every minute! I know what it feels like to get something so intrinsically basic to a collection, that to have it makes things have a certain completion! It even fits that you got Robin first! This figure is awesome and I almost wish I had gotten one also. As well. Because it is amazing. (I did snag these accessories for my custom!) You enjoy this! You rock this! These guys are the foundation of your now, massive collection and I have to admit, I would some day, love to see it in person! lol! I bet there are some serious gems in there! And, somehow, somewhere, Joel Schumacher is proud and smiling. You have done well! ENJOY all this!
Thanks for the kind message Les. Yes, this is definitely a highlight in my collection. Thrilled to have it on my shelf finally. Huge respect for you making your own version with a model kit. It's a testament to your skills that it looks basically the same as this. Nice one on getting the accessories - they are really great.
@@1995Batman Super stuff! I would still get one if I could. BTW, just posted my McFarlane BF Robin figure video and did a shout out to you in it. I mean, because where this movie series is concerned, you truly care. 😎 ( I could look at your figure all day! And get a load of the new upcoming HT Clooney! Yikes! These guys are absolutely rockin'!)
Love this figure! Looking forward to getting my new Mcfarlane figures this week. Still wish we were getting Chase as well but glad to be getting all 4..and so glad we are still getting Batman Forever merch released 29 years later! Thanks as always for your great reviews and I’m so happy that you now have both Hot Toys!
@@1995Batman I want that so badly! What a fantastic idea to have the gang lead who was played by the great Don "The Dragon" Wilson as the Build A Figure! Such an exciting thought!
Also yeah, they did for sure gave Robin an extra helping In the ahem ✌🏻 JUSTICE ROD ✌🏻 department so to speak, but It’s pretty movie accurate to Chris O’Donnell.
The McFarlane figure is a shiny blue. This Hot Toys figure is a gun metal grey. I think if you look at pictures of the real life suit, it is more gun metal grey. It looked bluer in the movie because of the lighting.
@1995Batman I know, I'm just specifically talking about the cowl, boots, and gloves. The figure from the six pack is the same color all throughout pretty much, but the one from the wave has the black cowl, boots, and gloves. This whole time, I thought the figure from the six-pack was the more accurate one to the movie... now seeing the hot toys, I guess it's not.
@rondavis5012 ah yeah, the new McFarlane one as black boots, gloves and cowl. Will be reviewing that soon. Will do a comparison with the other recent figures.
Another worthless figure, completely stiff rubber suit, no posing possible. Just like Batman Begins and the 2.0 version, and Batman 89, and the 2024 version. The Ben Affleck Batman version is good, that they can't do that with this figure.
2:25 He fires that grapnel hook when Claw Island begins to move and him and Robin get separated. It ricochets of the rocks.
Thank you! Yes it is. I misremembered it as being the same as the Batatang one he used later on.
Incredible stuff. So grateful that they're still making merch for this film.
Same. I'm struggling to keep up with it all... in a good way.
I realized that this is the only figure that got the headsculpt of val kilmer's batman right.
Congratulations, great figure. Imagine the boys next to Jazzinc Batmobile 🤗
Ooooooh. I might have to keep imagining a bit longer.

Same. I really hope they do a Chase figure on day.
@@1995Batman maybe a wave 2
Would be amazing if they do a wave 2 - Chase, Sugar, Spice, and Commissioner Gordon (build a figure is the Neon Gang Leader).

True. The costume department really did add a bit more to his... package.
I want a Suger&Spice double pack😁
Would be an instant purchase
I guess you'll be adding two more Hot toys to the collection since they just announced ones for Clooney and O'Donnell from Batman and Robin lol.
Yes, for sure. Assuming I have the cash at the time 😬
Beautiful figure!! Are you going to buy the Hot Toys Batman & Robin figures when they come out?
Yeah I think I will. Hope they come with some good accessories.
Have that!
3:44 My guy. 👌🏻
2:28 thats the gun he uses against Two-faces Henchmen at the beginning of the film that shoots electric lazed ropes.
No, it's actually the grapple hook he uses when Claw Island starts rising up into the sky.
@@1995Batman ok? I found that gadget forgettable and useless too.
Oh, okay. So the cowl, gloves, and boots from the sonar suit is black? So, the McFarlane figure is accurate, I guess.

Could the mystery accessory be the tool Batman uses to cut the bank vault chain?
Possibly. I thought that was a smaller hand held blow torch-like thing.
@1995Batman yeah, it doesn't look like a great match, but thought it was worth a guess. Love your channel by the way!
@kylemcmanus7436 it was my first thought too. Thanks for your kind words!

Was not aware that the Affleck figure has good articulation. Don't know why that wasn't implemented here.
