im a rengoku main. i am a GOD (not really)
His awakening is the worst part of him, but it's still able to 100-0, and that's just crazy... by far a top 5 character for me.
Early rangoku left a bad taste in my mouth
I think he's pretty average. I'm decent like 70 ish rank and I haven't lost to a rengoku yet despite fighting like 4 of them.

if you know how to use him, hes amazing! Especially since they nerfed his unknowing fire endlag, and he he has moves in awakening which is very very good and he has east 100-0 in base. Overall hes amazing

A combo is: 3 m1 and go up , rising universe ( it will downslam them ) , unkowing fire to combo extend when the player falls down , blooming flame and then flame tiger to the place the player gets pushed to.

If you go to the ground with rising universe, the slam down quickly isn't available, but if u slam it down fast enough, you can probably combo extend

Giyu fits really well as a prestige char as nasu said:
His base would have a buffed striking tide and flowing dance would be dead calm instead.
Awakening would literally be the same as Tanjiro's and Whirlpool would be dead calm again.

He’s not bad, he’s not overpowered. He’s just good which is what every character should be. If people demand a buff for him there’s no fun then.

I've also noticed you've been making demon slayer hairs/items in the roblox catalog. Do you think you could make a rengoku hair along with it?
A good combo i use all the time when im playing with Rengoku is:
Do 4 m1's while going backwards - Unknowing Fire - 4 m1's - Rising Universe - 5 m1's ( the fith m1 being the downslam) - dash foward then - Rising universe again - here you can either try to do 5 m1's to finish them off or just use Blooming Flame.
Sorry if it sounds a little too complicated it's just that i find hard to explain most things.
he was already doomed before he used 9th form against akaza. he just tried to take akaza with him before he got turned into a donut

For the Giyuu idea for prestige, I was thinking the same thing, maybe like the dead calm and the tenth form of water breathing would be cool, and I dear hope, that it does not come out with the same way you can mash with Tanjiro. That is at least my thoughts on Tanjiro’s gameplay.
The ussop fight is exactly why i like to use the other moves in awakening and not just use 9th form(also cus its way more fun than that boring one shot)

mirror matches are the best they are the most fair matches and require the most skill. There no stuff like "you're playing a broken char" or stuff like that, its purely dependent on skill
infernasu just went through the five stages of grief in that all might match

if giyuu is added to the game they could just reskin tanjiro's base and give him the other water forms that wasnt added in the first place to his awakening like the 9th form would be dope
He's not too powerful but not too weak either. He's the most balanced character this update and the most fun for me. His awakening gain especially in public servers is insane. The only thing I don't like about him is that his base is a little better than his awakening. Other than that he's really fun to play if you're a casual public player with moves like Flame Tiger that is literally a ranged guardbreak 💀

Actually in the anime rengoku uses ninth form after getting donuted.
He would still die if he didn't use ninth form because he had fatal injuries.
His awakening is after he gets donuted. Thats why he dies even if you dont use 9th form.

rengoku is my favorite character this update including prestige, hes a close range char with good gbs has great combos a one shot and is really fun to play with great fx just a good character all around just give him a gold and i would main

i think hes just an all around great character. i used itadori mainly before but i switched to rengoku because his awakening was better to me. He has a 100-0 in base and in awakening and its easy to do. but thats just me lol
I think giyu should have tanjiro moves but reworked then his awakening makes everyone go to a water deadcalm place. And have 2 new moves like waterfall basin or constant flux
He dies because it's cannon. Itadori dies because he fake dies in the anime when sukuna takes his heart

I agree with the fact that giyu should be a prestige char instead of zenitsu, he could have exactly the same kit as tanjiro in base and his awakening could be slayer mark, he could have constant flux, dead calm, water surface slash and a reworked water wheel (constant flux could be tanjiro's combo extender dragon from his awaken and water surface slash would be another combo extender so makes sense him being a pres char like that cuz it'd take somewhat skills to use him)
Tbh giyu could have like a dead calm domain would be pretty cool

The reason why flaming tiger doesn’t go where you cursor is because rengoku has face forward and pointing at the play for it to hit
btw you can movestack downslam with rising universe 2nd version in ladder combo and if you wait for them to block its a free guard break and a combo starter so he has inf combo
