Redcloud & Sunshine Peak | Wine, Weddings & Shenanigans during Peak Yellow Aspens | #31&32 of 58

A perfect day in late September with my dear friend Madalyn! We decide to first take on Redcloud and Sunshine via the standard Northeast Ridge route and Sunshine Traverse. Along the way we make new friends, find a wedding, and drink wine with the newly wed bride and groom. Eventually others leave and Madalyn and I get naked in the sunshine, On Sunshine! Living our best life! So much gratitude. Sooner or later we made our way down the steep and rarely traveled choss chute called the North Slopes, After a little more than 10 hours we were back at our car. Tired, yet fulfilled.

#31 Summit of Redcloud Peak 11:40am
(3:30hr Ascent via The Northeast Ridge)
-Left top 12:05pm (25min Break)
#32 Summit of Sunshine Peak 1:05pm
(1hr traverse of Sunshine’s Northeast Ridge)
-Left top of Sunshine Peak 3:30pm
(2:25 break, wedding, wine, and Shenanigans)
-Back to car 6:30pm (3hr descent via The North Slopes)
--Total time car to car: 10 hours 20 minutes
