Makes me wish they would remaster a lot of the older games; Nicktoons unite, Globs of Doom, Battle for Volcano Island…some of the purest fun I’ve ever had as a kid.

My favorite level is Industrial Park. It took me forever to finally beat Robot Patrick and I remember being so happy when I finally won! Plus, the music in the background is so exhilarating!

Late to the party but after finishing it, as 24 year old who loves old school SpongeBob and also likes a very wide variety of games and genres (serious and casual), I think this is a fantastic remake that perfectly fits the “casual” niche. If you’re a SpongeBob fan then you’ll like it even more; all of the settings and overall vibes are great and on point.
I’m kinda disappointed that they didn’t add some cut content like the glove world level and Patrick’s dream level. But other than that I really like this remake of it be of my favorite SpongeBob games ever.

@RJ he means it's not the classic krabs voice which was more like Arrgh or Boy-o or spatuler. It's kinda sad, those lines would have made the game even more nostalgic.
I enjoyed this remaster however I feel the designers had a few big disappointments: 1) Paying Mr. Krabs is WAY to expensive compared to original. 2) Only 10 slides in the movie theater (huge letdown considering the steep 40,000 price-tag). 3) Rumors of added content for Patrick's Dream was never realized.
The concept of a rehydrated version of the game is great. The game doesn't look too bad at all. But I don't know if it's just me but I think I prefer the original. I guess I'm just nostalgic
Will future patches have potentially new content, or just bug fixes & reworks? I really hope they’re not just completely finished with the game now besides the occasional update.
i love the rehydrated version but they removed the record player from patrick's home, squidward doesn't scream at spongebob for putting a moustache on his picture of him, the sleeping robots dont make that alarm sound and then shock you instead they just burn you immediately when you get 1 millimeter close to their territory, the part where the teleportation box moves around is removed in the rehydrated version where instead it cuts to the part where you go back to where you came from, and the part where spongebob sleeps before the level starts.
Dude I remember I didn’t know how to turn the brightness up on our tv as a kid for the GameCube, and kelp forest was a nightmare for me. I was literally on that level for a year. Was one of my favorite days ever when I finally figured out how to beat it in the pitch dark lol

@RJ he means it's not the classic krabs voice which was more like Arrgh or Boy-o or spatuler. It's kinda sad, those lines would have made the game even more nostalgic.

I enjoyed this remaster however I feel the designers had a few big disappointments:
1) Paying Mr. Krabs is WAY to expensive compared to original.
2) Only 10 slides in the movie theater (huge letdown considering the steep 40,000 price-tag).
3) Rumors of added content for Patrick's Dream was never realized.

The concept of a rehydrated version of the game is great. The game doesn't look too bad at all. But I don't know if it's just me but I think I prefer the original. I guess I'm just nostalgic

i love the rehydrated version but they removed the record player from patrick's home, squidward doesn't scream at spongebob for putting a moustache on his picture of him, the sleeping robots dont make that alarm sound and then shock you instead they just burn you immediately when you get 1 millimeter close to their territory, the part where the teleportation box moves around is removed in the rehydrated version where instead it cuts to the part where you go back to where you came from, and the part where spongebob sleeps before the level starts.

Dude I remember I didn’t know how to turn the brightness up on our tv as a kid for the GameCube, and kelp forest was a nightmare for me. I was literally on that level for a year. Was one of my favorite days ever when I finally figured out how to beat it in the pitch dark lol
