My favorite ice cream was Black Cherry made by the Stroh’s Brewery Co. in Detroit Michigan now by Deans Food. Stroh's Ice Cream is a regional brand distributed mainly in the Midwestern United States. It used to be owned by its namesake company, the Stroh Brewing Company, tons of black cherries and super creamy!
My brother in law recently converted his basement to a sports watching sanctuary in his house he just bought. Hidden in the ceiling of the basement, he found 4 unopened bottles of old Fitzgerald from 1983. What luck.
The quality of wheated bourbon from Bernheim took a nosedive when Heaven Hill started distilling it. They seem to have changed the yeast and increased the entry proof. Some of the stuff distilled by Parker Beam before he retired was pretty good, but the stuff coming out recently tastes very nutty and spicy and not at all how a good wheater should taste IMO
Thanks Fred. I think OF is okay but there are better bourbons for the same or less money. Right now, I'm enjoying a New Riff Single Barrel Store Pick here in Minneosta 🙂 $55
Any ice cream with pretzels and peanut butter. There's a frozen yogurt place near me that has chocolate frozen yogurt and you can add mini pretzels and peanut butter chips. Probably, technically not ice cream, but it's flipping good!
Old Fitz cannot be found at retail, and even their lowest offerings go for insane prices. Why is that? What happened in the last 5-7 years that caused whiskey prices to skyrocket?
Probably a long shot asking, but I’m taking my son and my wrestling team to the university of Arkansas at Little Rock for a wrestling camp. Any suggestions on places to hunt near there?
The more I see about Old Fitz, the more disappointing it sounds. I know there have been some releases receiving rave reviews, but far more effectively say "meh". Especially for that price. Yeesh.
Ill save the money and buy rebel 6 year 100 proof which is heaven hill juice. Is it as good not quite but at 40 bucks vs few hundred wanted for old fits im good with it.
Well tell me where I can get it for 140 and I go get a few. Never have and never will get it for 140. I'm not lucky enough to have the special connections needed to get it at msrp.
He is not misrepresenting the price at all. He didnt say that was the msrp. He said if you see it sitting on a shelf that would be the price, because that is true. Its highly unlucky to be sitting in a shelf at msrp. He also said at its bare bones/not getting the price tacked onto you could find it for 150. There's no misrepresentation here at all if you had just listened to what he said instead of hearing a number and jumping to conclusions. And wtf does the price of a case of russells have anything to do with it? Smh.

Yessir! This was always in my freezer growing up
The 1st and last bottles I had were from spring 2020. Very good. I was able to buy 5 bottles@$100 each. I have one left
My favorite cold dessert was blueberry frozen yogurt from Schwanns. When they discontinued it I told them to get lost.
Thanks! Ive never had Old Fitz and have always wondered if it was worth the money! Hopefully ill see you here in Nashville this weekend!
Got my first Old Fitz 10 yr today in a VA allocated drop. $139.99 msrp 🤘🏻
Same my guy! Snagged one in Roanoke Va
@@charliemills228 I'm curious to hear both of your reviews on this. Cheers

Blue bell cantaloupe. No longer made sadly. Cheers!
My favorite ice cream is Butter Pecan so I will look forward to finding and trying this bottle!
Jeni's Brown Butter Almond Brittle, or Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby
When you're talking how some brands are changing the owners what would be included into the selling process?
Thanks
Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla!
I appreciate the transparent review. How do you think it compares to last year's release?
Last year’s was way better
Appreciate the honesty in the review!
always! Cheers!
When you say that they're moving brand from one company to another is that also including the selling the recipes?

Butter Pecan is my favorite as well!

Never had that combo. But the pretzel crunch sounds wonderful
Which recent OF releases would be more fitting? I believe you had the 19 year placed highly? Maybe 17
I love butter pecan ice cream
They get points for the bottle and the label. I'm not sure $399 is worth it though

Comparison w/ Rebel 10yr?
Coffee ice cream is my favorite. 😊

Me and my buddy tried in the bar this bottle. Nose is pretty good, but pallet taste like acetone for both of us. Not impressed at all.
Chocolate chip cookie dough with gummy bears and Traverse City bourbon cherries! Sounds weird I know.
Thank
You
Sir!
Favorite ice cream is baskin Robbin’s chocolate mint
Mint Chocolate Chip!
Just won a lottery to buy this at $140 MSRP. Hope I like it better than Fred did. 😢
Choc chip with the little candy pieces, I think they are toffee???
The hard candy peppermints?
All the mic back noise is killing me

Blue Bell
Rebel yell 10yr 🙌
Tiger ice cream!
What is tiger ice cream? Education required here.
@@FredMinnick It may have been a Canada only product. Orange sherbet with a black licorice swirl. A true delight!
Stop misrepresenting the price. It's $139.99.
And around here you CAN NOT buy "a case of Russell's ten year old" for that.

If I can get it a retail since I don’t have one I would, but the younger stuff apparently is not as good as the older stuff. 🥃🥃
