The producers didn't even bother to put auto-tune on their voices coz Red Velvet doesn't need them at all. They've always done the backtrack vocals. They even sound amazing during their encore stages at the music shows award. RV means Real Vocals.

There is a "producers talk about Red Velvet" video here and many of them affirm that Joy is a genius in the studio. You can get what you need from her in one or two takes, which is the highest praise a producer can give you.
And of course, I can watch Wendy the technician throw down all day long.

Joy seems like a DREAM to work with. She has such a chill, fun attitude and shes detailed. She knows what vibes/flavor a song needs. They’re all so talented!!

My 1st time into queendom recording. Forget the English but all that raw vocals are too overwhelming. ike. What??.... i also appreciate this kind of video so much, not many KPOP idols have this kind of raw studio recording process.
