Pete D I seen the same pattern to anyone talking what needs to be talked about. I remember Daylyt, before all the antics talking on corrupt cops, talking about helping the community and wrongs in the streets. And nobody gave it the time of the day.
People really need to wake up.

Tupac wasn't a gangster. He tried selling drugs for a while but he eventually got robbed and the guy he was selling for basically subbed him funds because he could see Tupac's talent.
Tupac's thug life tattoo stands for The Hate You Give Little Infants Fucks Everyone. He heard that from someone and it resonated within him.
Also, when he says Nigga, that stands for Never Ignorant, Getting Goals Accomplished.
He was probably *the* most misunderstood rapper in history. He was the softest, most kind hearted "gangster rapper" in history. He was one of a kind and the World would be a better place now if some fuckwit didn't kill him!

My parents divorced when I was 8 and my dad was sort of around after. When I was 14 my mom was killed by a drunk driver and it took 2 months for him to disappear almost completely. Then I found out that he decided to celebrate my 21st birthday by legally divorcing himself from me so he didn't have to pay any more child support (Indiana law states that you must pay support for a child if they are enrolled in college, which I was at the time). I was 24 when I found that out so he did it and didn't even have the balls to tell me, and I only found out years later due to something unrelated.
Anyway, eventually he had a 'come to jesus moment' or some shit, realized he was getting older and tried to get back in my life with some half ass apology. I told him he was no longer my father and therefore had no right to speak to me ever again. That was over 12 years ago and I haven't seen/heard from him since. He may be alive, may not be, and I don't care. I'm better off without him. They always say you can pick your friends but you can't pick your family, which is true, and unfortunate. It sucks but I made it out the other side just fine.

I grew up on Tupac and even wrote a paper on this song and topic when I was in middle school and my teacher wrote a whole page back to me when she graded it where she expressed concern that I was so passionate about the issues of teen pregnancy, molestation, neglectful parents and the effects of poverty on black youth then she commended me, said writing was my calling and thanked me for leading her to listen to the song. She said she cried and couldn't believe she became a Tupac fan. I still have that paper to this day as a reminder.

I think Pac and Em are the best lyricists and rappers ever! I think now Em is the better lyricist, but Em had longer to perfect his craft. Pac was killed while still learning and improving.

I ain't going that way, but... all I can say is, I heard this song once, was depressed an entire week, and never wanted to hear it again. My best friend shot herself the week before Pac released this song. And the lyrics pretty much were the exact same situation my besty was dealing with. 10, pregnant, lost, no parents, foster, trickin', sellin', birthed the baby, killed her baby, and killed herself. Yes, age 10. I was never the same again. #RIPBabyGirlTuvaMalieta LBC91'.

@@totobobiasoswestling1087 I always called Pac the modern day street prophet or street poet. His gangsta persona was an act. He had a good heart, you can tell in his earlier stuff like brenda got a baby or dear mama. He taught us more then we thought. He was BLM before 2019/20. He was the injustice rapper before death row. I'm 42 and my favorite rapper/artist is Pac. He was one of my idols. I live in Cali, so i visit Vegas alot. Every time i go to Flamingo/Koval and say a prayer and tell him my thanks. Rappers today don't have that connection to their fans the way a Pac did. Sad that the greats always die earlier. Sadder that Death Row knew who shot him and didn't help the investigation. We never got closure. Smh. To this day, I've only cried 3 times for a man, Pac was one. RIP to Tupac Amaru Shakur
