    I just started working at the Grand Canyon as a shuttle driver and your video has helped me learn about all the viewpoints on my route. Thank you so much for making this compilation of stops on the South Rim. It is a great resource for anyone visiting or working in the National Park.

    All right!! Otis, we can go...together!! High paws to both Zeus and Otis! Love to see this...and also that there are so many different views points as if one sees a lot of people you can always see about moving to another! The varying colours in the layers in the canyon is just spectacular! Amazing how the view changes with the light...pretty cool! Thanks so much for this! Have yourselves a great weekend! We were pretty happy that dogs were allowed in most places above the rim (that didn’t need a shuttle). The rim trail is really nice too. Zeus isn’t a long distance hiker though so he was fine with the little trips 😁. You have a great weekend too!

    Awww ☺️ It brings back so many memories I have with GC with more than 10 visits to the park! We hiked down to Bright angel at night and came back before sunrise when we did our R3 and never saw the trail during the day time.. and see those switch backs… it’s breathtaking. Yoki point is the best for sunrise/sunset and of course the very famous Mather point! It’s no wonder why the GC is the mother of all the canyons out in the world! Great guide for those who are looking for unique view points without getting down ti the canyon!

    • @MagellanandGreyhound
      @MagellanandGreyhound  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is a tough question. I'd lean towards Red Route, but they are both fantastic. It's been almost two years, but if I recall, Red Route was longer, maybe 4 hours, due to reliance on the shuttle and the fact that we walked in between for some. Desert you can drive, aka it's faster, two hours maybe. You can spend an hour at one viewpoint if you love it, so there's that too. The later you start, the worse the wait times at certain parts of the Red Route are though. Hope that helps
