Hey, what is your capture setup? Your video seems very clear and and sharp. I'm using an old gefen vga to dvi scaler plus device and I think it's making my videos blury. I couldn't find a reliable alternative. Thanks!
Hello. I'm using PCIe capture card, it's Datapath Vision RGB-E1S. But beware this card can be sometimes temperamental. Its hard to set resolution scaling correctly, DOS games still doesn't look best. Sometimes I had little blur somewhere or lowered image that cannot be set up higher, OBS configuration isn't easy. You can try for cheap VGA to HDMI cable and use HDMI USB capture card. Some VGA-HDMI converters can work with lower resolutions like one from Foinex company. Converter from Foinex can be found probably at Aliexpress but I'm not sure about that while PCIe capture cards can cost arm and leg sometimes. Here I found that cheap VGA-HDMI converter: www.amazon.com/Adapter-FOINNEX-Converter-Connecting-HDTV-Male/dp/B071SHJ1S3
@@modernandretrogaming Thanks! I've spend a lot of money trying different cables and converters but couldn't get any of them work with my Elgato PCIex capture card. The only one worked is that gefen one which is ancient. I also tried OSSC but it is very complicated and not user friendly at all. Datapath cards are very rare in the UK. I only saw a couple on ebay for with high price tags. I think I'll have to stick with my old gefen for a while. Or I might replace the Elgato for something else.
@@RootiferasRetroGameplay Alternatively you can try to hunt down AverMedia Dark Crystal HD Capture CD530 but that card work with DOS resolutions only with ATI cards like Rage 128 and newer. And also don't work with OBS but only with its own capture program with very limited options. You can see on my channel video with Prince of Persia recorded that way.
