The evil Ching government has taken over and is out to rid the
land of the remaining Ming rebel patriots, including the still surviving
Ming Prince. Unknowingly, the evil Ching Overlord and his men capture the incognito Prince and throw him in jail. Hearing word of the Prince's capture, Shao Chang and Fang Ping mount a rescue effort to get the Prince before his identity is found out. They are thwarted by the booby trapped jail and a backstabbing Ching spy. The Ming rebels have a spy, who helps Chang and Ping to escape, and luckily the Prince's identity is not revealed. Eventually, the Ming rebels get the Prince back and move him to the temple where they must confront the evil overlord.

Yoooooo!!!!!! I been trying to remember the name of this movie for almost 30 years! I saw this movie in the 80’s on USA network’s Kung fu Theatre. Only thing I could remember was the Bloody Birds.

Shaolin Kung Fu Mystagogue is an excellent kung fu film of sheer brilliance. I still own this movie on the VHS cassette tape with the edited scenes taken out. C-L-A-S-S-I-C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People don't realize back then there was no TV and they are totally in tune with everything around them. I't seems the arts was not only discipline but a way to express ones social or integral position. There senses were totally intact and therefore could see a setup a mile away. The final technique I assume would be associated with prestige and supreme dignity amongst the monks. I'm sure that they were in tune spiritually with all technology tries to duplicate. You can't duplicate anything that isn't already a mental capability. Iv seen it done
