My husband died suddenly 6 yrs ago. I’ve missed him every day. I have always been in a relationship. I am 66 yrs old and this is the first time I’ve ever been alone. I am so proud of myself. I’ve had to handle everything that has gone wrong with my 94 year old house. I’ve been forced to learn so many new things. Thank goodness for TH-cam. I’m very happy living alone. It would be hard to live with someone now. I’m spoiled.
I understand! I went from my mother and father to my wonderful husband of 35 years. He passed 8 years ago and I am proud of how strong I've become. I just moved all alone paying movers instead of relying on family. I love all my peace and quiet now. I tell people that I live alone but I'm not lonely! I miss my husband dearly and think he would be proud of me! Love and good wishes! ❤

So there is an audience for this. I had a headache by the end of the movie. I am old enough to know all the ppl that have come out over the years, how JLo's entire image & music career is fake & a well crafted. JLo doesn't even sing the songs on her albums. All the chart toppers we know & luv are other people's vocals imo she is trying to hard to prove she's an "artist" however I enjoyed your review. 🧡💫

I loved the movie. I didn’t like how she used her past relationships as a basis for the movie, but overall I think the imagery was good, the choreography was very lyrical and on point, the songs were good. Broken Like Me is a beautiful song. I like how she paid homage to some of the greats in her choreography. The best scene was when she was dancing in the rain which was a nod to Gene Kelly. The Narration at the beginning about the Taino love story Legend was a nice touch. Some viewers will not understand the movie because you would need to have followed her music from when she started, understand the dance culture and have an appreciation for the performing arts and carribean culture.

I remember the lady who was coordinating with jlo saying he would be in a wedding for like 2 days, I kept wondering if it was his but I don't remember hearing her say it was so I assumed it was someone else's, but she got him, im assuming money changed hands if he had to miss parts of his own wedding , I mean I wouldn't be there for free

Exactly, she doesn't talk about how she came up with all those ideas because they are all stolen, just like all her music is stolen from other artists.

IMO the most cringe part is after 20 mil, trying to convince people they have the greatest love story, not months later they're headed for divorce.
I guess most of the hate comes from no accountability of using other singers voices without proper compensation or recognition, behavior to people shes working with or working for her, poor compensation for those working for her. But like you said shes not the only one just the latest to catch heat

I like her music and some of her movies. It is nice hear a very clear and fair opinion. You are lovable and I do agree with you that sometimes people who are that level live a different life. I was very bored and did have a hard time to finish watching it, l did like how colorful it was, but none of the song stuck that l’m like gonna wanna play that song while l’m jamming in my car. But l can’t wait to see the Celine Dion movie 🍿June 24th. ❤

I’m clueless as to why she claims she had to find love for herself to feel true love. When did she find love for herself? She’s never been by herself. She has jumped from relationship to relationship. How has she learned to love exactly? This whole documentary and story is pointless to me, because of that.
Jennifer Lopez had it all, beauty, a 400 millions dlls career, Ben Afflek, she could just be happy far from spotlights…but no.. she had to flaunt him around, knowing he hates paparazzi, she had to show him off in red carpets, she had to make an album all about him and how perfect their love was, she had to do a documentary AND a movie to convince everyone she is great and her love history is the greatest ever told, she had to show the private letters he sent to her for everyone to see…and now? He ran away for his mental health…I don’t blame him, he needed love peace and quiet and instead he was miserable, just look at his sad/uncomfortable face in most photos. She is needy and starves for validation and keeps trying to convince everyone that she is a serious actress (the best actress ever lived according to her crazy fans) despite 10 nominations for a Razzie award to the worse actress, (she actually won twice this prestigious award). She made a new album (it was a flop) despite having a very limited voice (kind of only two octaves range where she sounds kind of ok) but her fans keep saying she is “the best singer ever lived” in the level of Mariah or Whitney or Celine. The fans refuse to accept she can’t sing live without autotune, and keep claiming she sang live at Joe Biden inauguration, and that THAT is the prove she is a great singer.
Apparently, the announcement of her divorce will be after her tour to save face…
Imagine now she will go on tour singing every night about her perfect love story never told, while everyone knows is all over…. such an humiliation, and she did it to herself all alone.

I watched both of her movies (movie + documentary) twice, I really likes them both and I wasn't a big JLO fan. I even cried during the end of her movie, the scene when she is talking to her younger self. And I thought it was funny AF. Fat Joe was great, the wedding reception scene, the girl who kept stealing, the astrology people. Kiki Palmer (spelling?) was great and Jennifer Lopez poked fun of herself. I don't know why people are trashing the movies and bringing up stories from 10 and 20 years ago that she has already addressed. It seems odd that there is a pile on all at once and mainstream publications are writing stories on it when typically a celebrity of her level can have her team work to not have petty articles written. It seems like a bit of a take down of Jennifer, something is not right about the entire situation 🤔🤔🤔

All this talk on her 'documentary' or whatever it really is, makes me actually want to see it. From what I saw, it looks like a sci fi, far out, high on something mix mash of dreams and nightmares with a toss of realness in it here and there. Like, someone wrote it when they were smoking some fun stuff. That's what it looks like to me from the bits I saw. But maybe I will waste an hour of my life and watch it.

I think the main problem people have with her is that she’s not very nice to people and does nothing for Charity. She also has other signers singing on her tracks so sometimes it’s not her voice hitting the high notes. Not giving proper credit is theft and I think it’s rude and self serving.

I kinda liked it….i thought some parts were a bit corny but for the most of it, it wasn’t bad- it is well documented that from the start of her career she spread a lot of nastiness, not caring who she hurt and cheated. The negativity directed at her is exactly what she deserves.
Her arrogance in claiming the two movies have “never been done before”(!!!!!!!🙄🫨🙀🙀🙀🙀), plus comparing this to Prince/MJ irked a lot of people, me included. It’s a shame because the record has some pretty nice music and her voice, though it still needs work, is better than it’s ever been. If this was her first release and over the next 25 yrs. she went up from here, she may have had a chance at obtaining respect in the music world. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda. The narcissist ego will bring’m down every time.
