My cockapoo passed away 2 years ago she was 21 what a beautiful personality! Her teeth were beautiful up to her death she never had problems with them. My vet was shocked to see no tarter or cavities. I gave her denta bones 🦴 my precious baby is missed dearly.

The thing that shocked my mother when we had our cockapoo was that she slept a lot. The vet laughed, said that is normal for cockapoo. Our girl was totally a momma girl, to the point she was jealous of us kids, and even growled at my father if he kissed my mother🐶
I had one, she died today. Saddest day of my life. 😢

I know the feeling. Our Chloe died last May (2020) at age of 16 yrs. We miss her so much! I'm sorry for your loss.

101 sounds like a professional information video about Cockapoos, which is what I was looking for. This is just an owner describing her own dog. If she did 6 months research I'm surprised she wasn't aware of his grooming needs. As for him being "dramatic" dogs pick up on and mirror their owners emotions.

Watching your Cockapoo make me miss my Ace Harley Cockapoo that pass away at the age 7 years and 10 months old. During the Coronavirus pandemic 2021. He is my precious furry son/boy who I miss every single day. He Daddy boy/Son sidekick and admire and adore me. That later we lost our Digger Chihuahua that we took care for 4 years . Both passed away in May-2021 in a week. I still have my Maximilian Shih Tzu 10 year old , Jack is Jack Russell Terrier he is 8 years old and my new baby girl Angel Blue Husky is 1 1/2 year old. My heart will always be broken off the lost of my Ace Harley he the love of my life.

They are ALOT of work, and you need to keep them busy, and let them outside to run. It burns the energy off that they have.

My cockapoo is 10 years old. She’s turning 11 in May 2020. I’m an owner who is now in his 3rd year of undergraduate university, so I don’t really spend much time at home anymore, which is both good because I’ve learned a lot by being on my own but bad because I don’t spend time with my cockapoo. She’s very healthy, loves to eat her own food plus we mix in a little bit of foods like rice, beans, or a meat like chicken or fish. Very rarely do we feed her red meat, like once in a blue moon. She’s walked a few times a week when I’m not home, but once a day, sometimes 2x whenever I’m back from university. She has gotten a little bit overweight since I left, but she’s dieting now. How long do you think she’ll live for? This is something I’ve been wondering pretty much since I started college. In my opinion, I think she’s a pretty healthy dog and will live for many more years.
I just get sad sometimes knowing she’s turning into an old gal now. She still acts like a puppy though, which is a good sign I think right?
I have a cockapoo named Max and he’s chocolate colored and has the tuxedo pattern as his coat and I love him! He is turning two and is such an amazing loving silly dog! My family loves him and always says how he is so friendly and playful! Also, this breeds average life span is 20 years!
I asked about the life span of a cockapoo. I have read everything on the internet, and cannot find the life span.

yesterday i got a cockapoo, she was born october 11 and she is amazing. but im kind of worried, she doesnt eat alot but she does drink more than she eats. i was going to put her on a scheduled feeding but i dont think thats good for her because she barely eats, atm i leave her food there for a few hours and every hour or so she goes and has a little bit of food and then leaves. for a day she loves her crate and is very nice, she doesnt bark and falls asleep and cuddles when we pick her up and she kind of shakes when she is out in the cold.
Is it wet or dry food? I know most small to medium dogs are picky eaters.

@@RacketTattoo yeah your puppy probably doesnt like the food. If she continues not to eat you might want to see if she prefers the wet dog food just try one can. you can even try mixing it with the dry dog food.

@@RacketTattoo My cockapoo, who lived for over 16 yrs, weighed 10 lbs and was never a big eater --- I started with dry then shifted to frozen freeze dried, and did a combo. Fed her small amount in am and again in pm. Gave her ample time, then if not eaten took it away (which was seldom). She drank lots of water. Vet agreed with way I fed her. She stayed very healthy & active to the end, and then developed an unexpected liver problem.

Chris Kahan its not cruel because if its a work dog the tail can get caught or the dog might hit it over and over then the tail can split witch would hurt more and it would hurt even more if it got infected

NO. they are very active and needy (get overly attached). if you can do 2hrs walking plus 30Mins grooming a day on top lf your 9-5 plus getting someone to check/keep them while your at work then maybe...
no good dog breeder would recomend ANY dog to someone that works 9-5 unless their AT THE LEAST fully commited to the info above.
Aila Borgen these people dont know what they are talking about. hi im a vet. with this breed it depends on the dog. crate training would be beneficial if you work a 9-5 to prevent anxiety .
I have a three year old Cockapoo and work 10 hours. First year I had a dog walker, who would walk him in a middle of the day, now he is ok by himself. I do take him almost daily to run in canyons for 2-3 hours ( more on weekends) , and even though he is very active he doesn’t show any signs of separation anxiety.

Alex Ormsby long hair dogs need to be brushed at least every day to avoid matting close to the skin
Alex Ormsby im actually a vet and there is nothing wrong with daily brushing, show dog or not it is healthy to keep ur dogs hygiene in top shape.

cropping tails can be a simple humane procedure if done by a vet. but i do agree with u in the sense that puppy mill/ backyard breeders most likely preform this surgery inhumanly and should not be practiced
So are we just supposed to leave the puppy there to live without a tail and now with out a home. I'd rather take him out of that environment. Hes living a nice life now
