One of my favourite chasers from the 90's, Young Hustler, is still alive aged 31 and living with his owner Gavin MacEcheron. Ironically he fell at the first here, yet carried on riderless heading the field for a good way :)
He fell at the first open ditch, the 3rd fence instead. The horse participated in the previous GN, in which he was brought down at 12th, and returned in 1996 edition, where he managed to finished 5th after having success around National fences in Becher Chase months ago. Young Hustler died in 2019, aged 32, which made him outlive many of his rivals here.
