Idk, Luka is great at drawing fouls. But Tatum leads the playoffs in free throws per game and the Celtics foul the 2nd least in the whole league. It’s gonna be tough for the Celtics to guard him but they’re pretty disciplined and the physicality of finals defense could help the Celtics as well

I think the honest answer is that Luka and Kyrie arent as bad defenders as Celtics fans/haters make them out to be, but they aren’t as good as Mavericks fans make them out to be.
They both can be decent when putting in effort but a lot of it is due to scheming. And yea, usually the scheme is to put Luka on the weakest link and have him help off of him. So honestly I dont know
I think kyrie is better then given credit and Luka is just too injured to be on the perimeter
Luka’s defensive rating this post season has been 110.3, Tatums has been 109.4. Jaylens has been 111, Kyrie’s has been 109.8. Simple Average between the two are 110.05 for Dallas and 110.4 for Boston (worse).
Luka is leading the post season in steals. So, as far as the numbers go, if Tatum and Brown are good defenders this post season (against some terrible teams, health considered), so are Luka and Kyrie.
I suggest u watch "Awful Coaching". He has recent videos on how Luka & Kyrie are playing great defense, as of late. Honestly it opened my eyes about it. Checc it out if u bored waiting on the 6th to come. Lol

Karalis is so condescending 😂 For real all the other crossovers weren’t like this and there was mutual respect. Nick clearly knows the challenge the Mavs are facing, but Karalis doesn’t think the Celtics will be having even try in order to win this series.
