Tbh it’s probably not a BETTER transmission than the zf 8 speed in the g80, they went for the zf because it shifts just as fast and can handle more power but the feel that this transmission gives you is definitely more suitable for a sports car

I used to work at a vw dealer and noticed it was still in golf R’s and gti’s and thought since porsche still uses the pdk on 911s snd cayman/boxsters I just assumed all the performance cars had them lol. Gonna miss the feeling they give especially since most of these cars don’t come as manuals anymore.
DCTs aren't cheap. Back then torque converter transmissions were ass. Do not for a second ever think a ZF would be better than a DCT. As an OEM, it is way easier to drop in an off the shelf slightly modified transmission that is 8/10ths a DCT into their cars than design a 1-off DCT.

It sounds low but it's pretty balanced for the car. Even 400whp is super nimble. Remember, it's not a straight line car and shines on the curves. Very linear power and one of the few cars I could never get myself to sell lol.

There are only a few basic performance mods you can do to ANY car, so the mods they have done is what you would do to the car (unless your a weirdo and want to keep the car close to stock), so at least with buying someone else's modded car you save a lot on the mods that you would eventually do regardless, so your an idiot not to buy a modded car (so long as it was properly modded ofc). I agree with your point on cosmetic things because people have a different taste, but not performance mods. You are an idiot if you don't want to buy a modded car but you want to buy it stock and then do the mods yourself and lose a ton of money for literally no reason.

Its a peaky engine that is similar to race cars and ideal for the racetrack it has a high rev limit at 8300rpm.
