growing up, my mum always called them "suzies" as in crepe suzettes. i now take care of her, now that shes 80 and my dad passed 4 years ago. i splurged one time i bought groceries and bought an assortment of jams for her, blueberry preserves, blackberry jam, apricot jam, peach preserves, seedless raspberry jam and of course strawberry jam and grape jam, and a huge can of whipped cream and we went to town. my personal favorite thing to put on my crepe is actually jiff peanut butter with either grape jam or strawberry jam topped with whipped cream.

My favorite crepe is rolled up with chocolate chocolate ganache inside and a chocolate crepe cake smothered in ganache with whipped cream and mint leaves. Pure heaven.

A favorite childhood staple at my grandma and great aunts home. They always added lemon zest. We called them “thin hotcakes”.
