I think in Defense they often guard the best players with most FGA therefore being closer to the ball. In offense they're having high attempts, getting the rebounds off of misses. If you only watch highlights it will not be that clear.

Throughout a long period of time, MJ was the greatest scorer we've ever seen, could steal the ball at a convincing rate, and is the best shot blocking guard of all time. Also Luka's missed like 5-7 game winners this season, while MJ in his prime is the most clutch player ever. MJ almost had a 70/20 game in a slow paced era with much tougher defense. Michael Jordan is not only the greatest, but the best too.
