    Looks awesome! Going this Thursday in my 07 tundra.

      Have fun! It’s a blast but hope it dries out a bit for you. With the rain that’s been around the NC thru PA area of the east coast, I wouldn’t be surprised if the trail is a little sloppy. Should still be plenty fun though!

    All you're doing is making the Sasquatch wish that they could have an OBS !!!!!
    That thing sounds amazing. 😅😅😅😊😊
    Stay safe, and God bless

    Thanks for the video! Are there any dispersed camp sites on the Peters Mill Run trail?

    • @thenotsonicecanuck
      @thenotsonicecanuck  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not really any “official” camp sites. You’re technically supposed to be off the trail by nightfall but we ran into some people that were camping there overnight in some clearings. There’s actual campsites at the north entrance to the trail that are first come first serve.

    Hey are you guys from Delaware. Felton area here. I’ve been wanting to find some ppl to take my 03 Sequoia (stock) out in some adventure’s.

      We’re all from a bit different area. I live in south central PA, two others in this video are from Wilmington area, and then another is from central Maryland.

      If you go watch the other video on my channel about off roading my F350 and jumping my friends Lexus GX470, those “trails” are in Delaware in Bear. You’re Sequoia would do fine on anything that we’ve done.

      @@thenotsonicecanuck nice. What are they called, or don’t they have a name?

    • @thenotsonicecanuck
      @thenotsonicecanuck  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They don’t have a name. They’re referred to as the canal trails but they’re actually just public roads. They’re along the canal that connects the northernmost part of the Chesapeake bay to the Delaware river.

    Peters mill is super easy and a good trail to start, I watched a stock outback do it no issues

      @thenotsonicecanuck  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea I tell all my friends that want to do actual off-roading (not beach driving) that these are great starter trails. Really all you need is ride height to make it over all the rocks. Most stock SUV's would do fine on those trails.

    Did you see any decent camping spots or small trails along that route by any chance?

    • @thenotsonicecanuck
      @thenotsonicecanuck  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There’s a couple decent sized clearings but technically you’re supposed to be off the trail by nightfall so camp at your own risk. We ran into people that were camping the whole weekend in the same spot. There are official campsites that are available first come first serve at the north entrance of the trails though.

    What time of the year was this? Were the locals friendly besides the civic sign people? lol

    • @thenotsonicecanuck
      @thenotsonicecanuck  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe it was October. Yea everyone that we ran into on the trails were friendly and waved as we passed by, from locals to just people visiting. The civic people were at our AirBnB which was about an hour away from the trails.

    Watched a bunch of other videos on Peters Mill, and yours showed off the "rock staircase" the most thoroughly. We were about to take our step rails off, but it doesn't look like that'll be necessary. Thanks!

    How wide is the trail? My wife and I will be in the area this spring and I suggested that we drive this trail in her new Jeep. She doesn't mind a few scrapes underneath but she is afraid of pinstriping her paint. (She babies her Jeep.) Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

    • @thenotsonicecanuck
      @thenotsonicecanuck  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The main Peters Mill Run trail is plenty wide enough that you won’t have to worry about pinstriping the paint. Only times that you’ll get close to branches or anything is when you have to pull over to let someone by if they’re going the opposite direction. It’s easily a car and a half wide everywhere. In the Taskers Gap trail section, as long as you stay on the main trail, you’ll be fine. Any of the side trails that we ended up going into and then backing out of will definitely pinstripe the paint.

    I did the trail in a stock Hyundai Santa Cruz. Completed it, but not without a cost.

    • @thenotsonicecanuck
      @thenotsonicecanuck  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What was the damage? Really the trail isn't difficult as long as you have the ground clearance for all the rocks... and tires that can survive the rocks.

    • @billybee4664
      @billybee4664 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thenotsonicecanuck It wasn't difficult except for that last part. The damage was the running boards, trailer hitch, and scuffing the lower front bumper. 4k. It's a Santa cruz. took me 5 hours overall.
