Mark Twain is quoted as stating “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” ( cardigan on, cardigan off, etc., etc.,)Those hills are no joke; I thought I was going to have a heart attack walking in the Chinatown area when I visited years ago. The food there was worth it though. I happened there on market day and the experience was glorious.
