His memories will forever live on in that machine and he'll always be the cool uncle. Now you got me thinking, my kid isn't going to be born till March but I need to teach him how to maintain my multicade I built so he can use it forever too. Or at least pass it on to someone who will. Hope you have a great 2024 Ralph! When's your next live Q&A? I got Christmas money to burn in your chat. 🤑
It's heartwarming to hear that you're thinking ahead and planning to pass on your multicade to your future child. It's a beautiful way to keep the arcade memories alive and create new ones with your kid! Thank you for your support and I wish you all the best in 2024 and beyond man!
Awesome 👍👍 .. Hope you and your son enjoy this for years to come and create new memories..
I once considered getting this game. What turned me off was using a "shotgun" for Terminator Salvation.
I noticed this for a while now in your game room. Sorry for your loss my friend. I feel that the cab is in a great home for you and your son to share great experiences and good times. I really enjoy Raw Thrill machines in the wild and I bet the Walking Dead update is fantastic. I agree with what you said totally a fun game but would I shell out 10K for it. Here is the thing I wouldn't and not even for Crusin and I really like that game. It's too much to tie up in a modern cab. Pinball yes, because there is something magical about pins and they hold their value if times are tough you can always sell them. For 10K I would rather have a custom multicade with a PC that has light guns, steering wheels, spinner, etc. I really enjoyed this video!
That's a sick buck hunter cabinet bro....sorry about your son losing his uncle. I will keep your family in prayer.
Sorry to hear about the loss in the family. You son's uncle had to be huge Big Buck fan to get the game to host tournaments. The fact the game can stay in the family and be a memory for your son is very special. The thumbnail isn't accurate. You didn't get a new game, your son did! You just get to be the technician to keep it nice for him, which can be fun for you too... :) If its possible (don't know travel/other circumstances), keeping the tournament going in some form could be a good way to remember and bring the family together.
I played one of these a couple weeks ago. I played 'reloaded' Big Buck and tracking/gameplay was very accurate, the I had a better game than I've ever done on a Big Buck series game. The Terminator game was very fun too. Good variety to keep it interesting. The game's price is up there with pinball, but in a bar setting, I bet a game like this would do better, in general.
It is a happy back story in the sense of how amazing your family is. I used to take care of this old lady on my block and as soon as she was close to death, her blood-sucking rich brother showed up who try to get her house. He left her blind, on state-aid living alone, she was the nicest old lady I ever met. Always positive, I mean, she was the female version of Tuesdays with Morrie. That's a SAD story, her brother could have changed her life EASILY. But - he never got the house. She protected herself in writing before she would lose her mind to several mini-strokes. We didn't want the house and traded it to state for care which only increased our position in their eyes. Blood-sucker mosquito was squashed. And even that story doesn't have to be sad, it's all perspective. I started off checking on her in more of a well I better do this no one else will way, kind of annoyed, and ended up missing her every single day since. It's been 8 years since she passed. If she means that much to me, I can only imagine what this will mean to your son, even if he doesn't quite understand it right now because he is younger. Your family is one of a kind. Also, I think this game might grow on you. I play modern FPS shooters and you'd think this has nothing on that, but I played this game on the board-walk and was quite impressed. Closest I'll ever get to hunting, I can't in real life - so I think that's cool.
No one was playing this at the Arcade. But should try it out. Sorry for the loss! Prayers are with thee.
Thanks my friend, I appreciate the kind words. Crazy thing is, this game has been reported by RePlay magazine as the best modern traditional video game for 30 months now! It's an operator poll, but it's a pretty fair analysis based on large arcade locations and FEC's. I plan to include this content on the channel a bit more in 2024. I did a little modern last year, but I'm going to weave in more of it. Anyhow, thanks again bud and I hope you have a great day!
@@RetroRalph No problem sorry was at work and had a hard time watching the video. But glad everything worked out in the end. Hope you keep this machine for a long time to come and many others. Again let me know if you are looking for anything in particular. I was able to pick up Tekken 3 PCB for a good price recently. I wanted to see if anything was wrong with the board but the game seems to work great.
Sorry for your loss Ralph, my condolences.
Thanks buddy, I appreciate that. I feel I was a little awkward explaining what happened, but I don't handle things like this too well. So I really appreciate the kind words.
Sorry about your loss but that machine is awesome will bring lots of memories and fun for years to come
I own one! I love it, I have the paid subscription, and I love it, there are two ways to pay subscription monthly or by game play, I have the other version (cabnit) shown in your photo, I paid 7,200 and had to buy the TV. So I purchased a 65 inch so out the door was around 8,000. The gun tracking and picture is phenomenal! Now they have walking dead and a new animal to hunt and a few more bonus games added. All in all I love it.
Next is my aliens shooter cab from xtreme games! Looking forward to getting that from Jasen soon!
Cheers!
Enjoy it like he would want you guys to!
I am the "fun uncle" myself and love to have family over to my home arcade or go skiing or dirt biking with them.
I would love for them to enjoy my stuff after I'm gone!
I'm definitely the cool Uncle. That was really nice of them. That thing is awesome.
I’m the cool uncle!! Happy Friday!
Well, being the cool uncle comes with great responsibility! Keep up the good work brother!
May I politely ask what happened to the Virtua Cop Deluxe cabinet that you featured on your channel a while ago? Do you still have it? Will you feature it in any future videos? Have a nice day.
So cool! And every time you see and play it, you'll remember your uncle
Not for $10k, but it looks like a fun game and decently sized for a home arcade.
so i see that being an arcade fanatic runs in the family. i to have something that belonged to my late uncle & that is a 6 player shuffleboard arcade bowler. its has a solid wood frame & was made by the chicago manufacturing company long before i was born. honestly should be in the strong museum of play but i don't know if i could ever separate with it.
Sorry for your loss Ralph.
I don't have the room for such a cabinet but from a technical standpoint, how do the guns work? Do they use IR sensors like a GUN4IR setup or something different? Also I assume it runs on a Linux PC like the other Raw Thrills games?
Would love it if you could do a deep dive into the operation and mechanics of the machine. I always like to know how things tick.
Whoa, sorry to hear about your loss. Play it with pride and cheer man. Cheers and happy New Year dude!
Sorry for your loss but a what a cool way to remember him by
On a cruise last year we found a Raw Thrills Jurassic Park machine on a mothballed deck. 😅 supposed to be off limits but we "borrowed" a maintenance mag card. Charged credits to a vacant room and played it obsessively while stuck on the ship during repairs.
That's a sweet machine! Sorry to hear how you required it, but it went to someone who really appreciates it. It's way too pricey for me to ever buy, but awesome machine! We will see you oooooon the next one RR!
I have the full sized reloaded with a 55” screen. It’s great but it’s 39 a month to get the reloaded stuff and the terminator.
@@dmo848there’s an offline version for like 4k more.not worth it.
Using a shotgun for terminator sounds like an easy way of getting Carpel tunnel lmao. I hope there’s a way to swap the guns
Nice cabinet could creatively double as gun4ir cabinet
I would love to get one of these for my game room but they aren't available in the UK 😞
Is there a setting where you can turn the pump action off? So it would be semiautomatic essentially. My kids love that on the arcade 1up, actually. It's called easy mode on there.
Edit: I commented to early and I think you answered my question. That's too bad.
Not that I can find, but I will double-check, I think because this is a commercial unit meant to make money, they may have decided NOT to include it. But I will double check, that would be cool for terminator salvation. Thanks so much for watching!
@@RetroRalph I bet you're right! Who would've thought 1up could 1up anyone? So cool you guys inherited this great vid!
LOL... well 1up could use some positive mojo right now so let's give em' a point for this one ;-) Thanks again for watching!
Does it come with a security dongle
my condolences, man. assuming maybe they knew you were into the arcade stuff? but suppose if anything the machine has a good home now. I admit the buck hunter games were never really my thing, but I understand that it has its audience. though that's cool its got the other modes in it those I might play.
Dont shoot the MOO MOO'S!! 😂
Cool uncle! RIP
I'm going to be saying "Don't shoot the moo moos" in that weird voice all day now 😅
I got a buck hunter for free from a customer, since the machine wasn't making any $$$ sorry for you loss
I'm a funcle
Almost thought it was a mame machine..but im sure it has a pc in it
Lol the money I seen to pay for these ya fthat crazy for that price😂😂 rather buy a ki1 cab lol and save money
I have no interest in this. Never play it when im at arcades.
Sorry to hear about the loss in your family Ralph.
Profiting off that story here in TH-cam? 🤔
I’m sorry you’re upset about the 15 cents I made on this video. Anyone that knows me personally or watches my channel regularly knows I’m a genuine person. I’m
Sorry it came across disingenuous to you but that’s not the case at all.
Dump the rom 😆
raw thills is so dog water
Are there sensors around the monitor? How do the guns track?
I had 4 cool uncles.. they always fixed my dirtbike after crashes and always left their Hustler mags laying around LOL
Cool Uncles are the best!!!
