Yes thatś right, allso listening to this 'socould'High Ress audio i get the impression that most of these recordings are run through an : Aurel Exciter"like BBE and SPL make { spl Vitalizer} such a device can make even a crappy sound system sound way higher priced than it is, especialy in "HiFi"alot of these trics are used, nevertheless some of these rather unknowen artist do sound nice.
Some of us are of the opinion that it is useless to listen to 64-bit music, considering that music cannot be listened to at 136db, considering the maximum listening level of thousands of watts that cannot be reproduced at home. I think the sound resolution is measured down that is, weak signal levels are audible and reproduced naturally as well as the timbre of harmonics. Anyway, on my devices you can feel the difference from 192/24 and even 384khz /32bit. The environments are natural and the distortions are imperceptible because the human ear has a resolution of 120db even at low level at night, the mids and highs appear very clean and clear. The band is very linear at 10-15khz with clean highs as if above the natural analogue sound. I am honestly impressed.

may i suggest that you read more into the Nyquist-Shannon Sampling Theorem.
higher bit music is only useful for copyright protection & have no bearing whatsoever on the quality of the sound that we hear from a CD; if they are taken from the same exact master.
I have Bose 301's and 151' on my back patio ... man this is amazing! I don't need any $20,000 sound system to appreciate the beauty of this sound!! And for those of you who feel otherwis...you have more dollars than sense!

Everybody here arguing about quality of the youtube music, compression and so on. I think that even if the quality is lower, the mastering of these songs is done very well and therefore you can distinguish certain sounds and frequencies. So the mastering behind the audio is the main part, no matter how good the hardware or compression is.
Mastering is of course very important and can make a huge difference. But saying "no matter how good the hardware or compression is" is as far from any truth as it can be. You can do your test by yourself. Take any of yours (SA)CD with an excellent sound, grab it as carefully as it is possible into any lossless format to your PC. Then upload it on YT in 4k. Then listen to it through your system, ideally while playing the original disc and switch from one to another. What you'll hear frm YT will disgust you, a HUGE difference.
And you do not have to have any good system to hear the loss of quality. It is clearly audible even on 1000€ "sound system" for my PC.

Regardless of bit rate, the RECORDING is most important.

It's youtube ... so no such thing as Hires ... but the music is good itself, it's well mastered ... sometimes it's not just about the technicalities, it's about how good is the music. Hopefully one day youtube premium will have some kind of lossless streaming feature ...

It's incredible how much better the premium bitrate HD sounds. Wow, that's very nice! Listening to 2023 Elysium Annihilators with Mass-Kobo 475 amp, the high bitrate version sounds almost twice as good.

Die letzten beiden Stücke waren schön dynamisch, dass die Lautsprecher auch mal bei hohen Lautstärken gefordert werden. Aber der Rest, na ja, da klingt sogar mein Küchenradio gut.👍
Die Beiträge finde ich alle sehr interessant. Mich würde mal die Größe des Raumes interessieren? 🤔 Die Raumakustik macht so viel aus. Ich kann mir eine 100.000€ Anlage ins Wohnzimmer stellen, die nicht gut klingt. Mit meiner Audium Comp 8.2 bin ich super zufrieden. Man hat keine Raummoden mehr, man kann sich alles so einstellen wie man es mag. Keine Absorber die den Hörraum zustellen. 🙂 Lautsprecher die man akustisch einstellen kann, kann ich nur empfehlen 👍
That is just a huge nonsense what you wrote - "you no longer have room modes" 😀. You can only get rid of room modes by doing one of the following: get rid of the room 🙂or install taylor made absorbers / reznators for the problematic frequencies. No speaker of speaker setting can reduce modes inducted by a ROOM. That is a technical nonsense. Any kind of sound equalization can smooth out the frequency response but the mode will still preveil in the time domain and the sound will be mushy at that frequency (due to the time domain).

i have skull cancy headphones and i felt my face was a sub woofer punching my face it sounded amazing but i have a hi end marantz av reciever connected to a pc and tv and pioneer deck marantz cd player sony blue ray 4k and 5.1 sound , its a nice tone of voice pleasant and enjoyable relaxing with or without headphones 65 inch tv used has a monitor no tv programme rubbish

I used to have separates you know different setups through the years , roughly around the 3 to 5,000 Mark I just bought Bose SoundLink revolve,300, it's the same quality and no wires.
