      You people get fooled and deceived easily. The man as CBN gov did nothing but witch-hunt Christians and the Christian President Jonathan while funneling unappropriated and unbudgeted Nigerian money into islamic programs around the world, in the process acting as a shadow and separate government of his own. Notice how soft he is on buhari whose government did billions times worse fraud and never accounted for any actions or allowed due audits. They speak with forked tongues. Shine your eyes

    This is beyond a brilliant submission. SLS should be protected at all cost. The problem is not the law but the people in charge of maintaining and who swore to protect the law and the constitution are the problem. They feel they are above the law and the constitution when they get there, coupled with the fact that those who are supposed to provide checks and balances as it should be in a three-tier government look the other way. They are more concerned about being an “oh yes member” and how their pockets will be filled instead of doing the actual work of why they are there. The fact is there can never be too much regulation, otherwise things would descend into a state of chaos and recklessness.

      How can one think him intelligent and well-meaning for Nigeria when at the point it mattered most, he joined with the APC mad people to enthrone an inept leader that has brought Nigeria down to its knees.
      That he was removed from Kano Emirship, which was his reward for the politics work down against GEJ was because he now started to criticize his fellow crooks.

      Can you prove this? That he was sponsoring islamic cause?
      Same they are saying against Emefiele that he sponsors IPOB and the likes of East guys. Although, he did a lot of wrong things, but financing the terrorist group isn't realistic.
      This is just an heretic claim, same that they say when Mesoma lied against Jamb, they said its because she is from the east.
      Let logic lead against feelings.

    • @brandhub1123
      @brandhub1123 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This same man logically and publicly in 2013 analyzed the spending of the government, stating how funds are borrowed to pay salaries, but the government didn't make that known. Okonjo iweala, Madueke and the likes as ministers were there, they never said anything against him, that is, he was right.
      He predicted nigeria will be worst for whoever became president in 2015, no one knew Buhari will campaign.
      But you that have no logical input, just make heretic claims.
      He was just a CBN governor, still follows the directive of the president irrespective of what he wants to do.
      He only publicly claimed that all policies they adopted wasn't good, it wasn't something he think would work, but he has to abide by the president.

      You are on point. But I wonder why our front line economists like SLS and even Tinubu are not friendly to the school of thought of de-dollarization, especially for a country like Nigeria that is very similar to Argentina where its citizens have an ingrained distrust for our currency and calculate its value in comparison to dollars every second.
      The only solution is to break away from the dollar so we can determine our currency by its purchasing power parity.
      There are brilliant economists talking about this regularly like; Michael Hudson and Jeffrey Sachs. I wonder if our economists listen to them.

    The administration of the central bank ought not to be predicated solely upon trust but rather on policies, rules, regulations, standards, and guidelines. Any contravention of these established norms shall automatically invoke disciplinary measures against the transgressor. In fact, we should advocate for the adoption of a zero-trust model.
