I was hoping for a large truck from redcat. Just was hoping it was a crawler to compete with the scx6. Although I could crawl with this if I really wanted to. Lol.
That chassis isn’t even close. Servo location and mount is different. Motor mount looks similar but is different. Esc location and mount is different. Diffs are bigger. I think with the right upgrades, that thing is gonna eat the X Maxx for breakfast.

My man obviously is getting paid by redcat or getting free stuff. He has the car as soon as they announce it this car is nothing compared to the X max. Lol it has a split chassis all I have to say…. And Red cat claims it’s cheaper than the competitors that are $12-$1300. Meanwhile an XM is $1000 and an Outcast and Kraton exb is $1000.

I can’t believe they used that same upper arm design 🤦🏻♂️ I don’t see this rig being competitive as a basher but I could be wrong.i think redcat is doing really good lately but I think they made a few …weird choices on this design
It's a shame they're doing a Arrma and lie! About scale! This is not 1:5 scale but the Raminator is! They must think we're as thick as deluded Arrma fan boyz
LoL well the Xmaxx is 1/6 so I figure this is more in line with that. This does have better hubs with legit 24mm hexes and nuts which is nice and I can swap a lot of things over onto it like the 5th scale tires and stuff.

It’s not a knockoff of anything. The servo is a way better design it’s got Hobbywing esc and motor, wheels are better with metal hexes, it’s braced very differently and it’s not the same as an Xmaxx.

Good ol" Turbine wheels! Remember those well. Had a set on a Pontiac Formula. Saw quit a few on Vans and some 4x4 trucks back in the day.
Just found my next rig. Let's go! Only wish it was avaliable as a roller.

Chassis seems like 1/2 tub 1/2 plate style. Looks pretty sweet, but I'm guessing it won't out perform the xmaxx

Very well designed.
The only thing I don't like and this applies to many manufacturers.
The body wheel wells don't line up with the tires.
I'd just switch tires and rims over changing oils first .

Max 6 and motor seem to small for this thing to me. Should be a Max 5 and the 56mm can motor
