I gotta admit, I really enjoyed the Solid Edge Works Piccolo (the one without the turbin) version 2. The only issue with him was the size and scale, as well as shading. Aside from that, solid Piccolo lol Looking forward to see your take on both versions of the Solid Edge Works Piccolo!!
It’s kind of fun getting these weird one off scales and seeing what other lines/figures they look next too. For instance that looked pretty good next to that GX Materia Goku and those Blood of Saiyans.
Have you considered adding an additional rating category? I believe that talking about the figure’s “pose” would be very interesting for most crane and kuji figures
@@Kay_The_Coffee_WeirdoI can see that, and the same can be said for size/scale for most Masterlise figures. but I also think it’ll depend on the character
I have the Masterlise Golden Frieza, and he leans pretty heavily. It's really aggrivating, and the sad part is that he has a support, but it doesnt help with the lean.
I was really looking forward for this figure. SEW is one of the most affordable DB figures here and Frieza and Android 18 are my favorite characters from the series. I don't really like the texture on his purple chest piece and shoulders. The balance issues only makes things worse.
Yeah the purple spots aren’t that great of quality. Now I do think he’s one of the better crane Frieza’s out there right now if you can overlook the balancing, but it’s pretty disappointing when comparing to all the other figures
Yes - my criticism isn’t that figures do not require one. It’s that this one is very unstable without one. Foundationally - this figure does not balance well and should have included a base.
I was looking forward to this figure since we didnt get a standard final form Frieza Ichiban due to the pose he has paired with Goku. Its too bad the quality is lackluster, especially since Solid Edge Works quality has seemed like it was improving a lot; the latest Teen Gohan and Future Trunks figures were really good quality.
The sculpt could be nicer if they followed the design you've shown (bigger body) and if they put the tail all the way down it probably would stand more balanced.
I do like em somewhat, but I'm noticing as the quality get a little better, the size is smaller. It is an issue especially when you are putting two different Solid Edge works figures next to each other, and Piccolo is small compared to Trunks
Most of my Dragonball figures now are SEW, kinda disappointed with this Frieza but hoping that placing him next to the others will somehow cover his flaws lol.
@@blipblop9094 unfortunately all crane figures are not made to scale. They’re all typically inconsistent in that light. Ichiban Kuji are usually the only consistent series with size and scale
Not bad for the price but the face is awful. That said i cant hate it because frieza is my favorite villian also. Luckily we have the smp , first form frieza from bwfc.
Why do so many DBZ figures look stiff and uninspired stance-wise? It really bothers me… they put so much detail into the art/paint portion… it’s such a shame when they don’t have that “jumping out of the anime/manga” feel like the Naruto Vibration Stars figures. Plus the Box art on this line is horrendous. It’s like you’re looking pictures of them online shopping….Really ugly to look at.
Ahh yes, Solid Edge Works, my favorite. I love the one where they walk at you, like this Freezer
LMFAO

Yup 100% why I do them! I’m glad you appreciate that
@@MatchesPeacheshey Matt! Trying putting this Frieza next to Masterlise King Cold! They look perfect in size and scale and stance together! 😍😍
@@jonathanchui thanks for the recommendation! I already gave this Frieza away in our member giveaway

I also agree, but I'm also worried that there's not enough variation in poses to really do a valid rating.

The Master Stars Piece Frieza is easily one of the best Frieza sculpts out there. Really disappointed they stopped with that line of figures.
I'm hoping we get a great Masterlise to replace it one day
I have the Masterlise Golden Frieza, and he leans pretty heavily. It's really aggrivating, and the sad part is that he has a support, but it doesnt help with the lean.
Damn that sucks! I remember mine was stable, but that whole set had random QC issues
@@MatchesPeaches the Broly duo also leaned. SSJ Broly more than blue hair broly, but thats an issue that bothered me a bit
@@Save_Train that was a common issue
He’s leaning because he’s doing the Connor McGregor walk!
Embracing the dickhead persona
Keep up the great work 💪🤙
Thank you!

Damn at first I thought the no support was sick but seeing how unbalanced he is kind of sucks
I had to lie him down whenever placing him on my desk. He refused to stay up for long.
@@MatchesPeaches thats so frustrating. No excuse for that, Bandai

Yeah it seems pretty inconsistent. I’m sure there will be a proper Frieza Masterlise in the future

Yeah I just… don’t understand lol
The lack of balancing 😢😢😢
The most disappointing part of the figure IMO
like your content man donyou now of a store around dallas with kujis
Nope Kujis are only online pretty much
made a order today from amiami 😂
Anima Pop in Addison off belt line
Msp stay forever the Best for me 😊 this one 😢😢
So far yeah
His head is massive
Big Brain
i love the SEW line, its not large scale and affortable

I’m sure he’ll be fine with the others

When you said people think SEW is the best crane line. I was like he talking about me rofl.
Lmao nah I think most people share your opinion!
Is it smaller than clearise goku?
No

I still think Master Stars Frieza is unmatched in terms of Frieza figures. Not a single Frieza figure has impressed me since that one.
Yeah he’s still top tier, though I love the latest Masterlise releases from last year

Lots of options. Really not necessary to pick this one up tbh
I don't like he's face but the body is very nice
Yeah it’s not terrible
5/10 figure for he's good
