Show all the stones you want no matter the color. It’s all good. The music you play while showing the landscape stone makes me see camels on the Silk Road. The rain and snow is coming here to high plains arizona when it leaves you. And we thank you very much. Soon I will be out exploring here. Thanks for the trip to search out the details of Mother Earth

I’m amazed at how colorful the cut wonder stone was. They must get sun-bleached.
Some of the fibrous rocks look like nerve bundles. The blue multi-striped rock toward the end is gorgeous. Thanks!

I haven't watched forever but recently I got to use skills learned from this channel. I was given a very entry level metal detector. I didn't find much but I'm currently doing research on old train depot's in my county. The Rock Island line ran just north of the small Iowa town I'm from. I've always thought it'd be a great place to look for stuff.

Love this channel. I would never be able to leave behind any of the rocks you showed, they were all very beautiful. There is so much beauty in California, it is sad that with that beauty comes so much ugly. I lived in the Southern part of the State for 20 years and never walked the Santa Ana River Bed but was amazed at what I saw from a distance. Finding a place to park wasn't easy. After being a subscriber of this channel for 2+ years makes me wish I had done more exploring in the State. Thank you for Sharing, God Bless

I remain here , among the last scattered troops still holding a line long lost I suppose, I've considered migrating a long time now, as the vineyards and development ate the trees and open spaces , and the politics changed from what it was to what it is. but I remember , gate-less back roads for wandering, late night palate fires at the beaches that no one could own, deep canyon waterfall summers out beyond the fences and sighns , open minds all letting each other be free.
and I linger , sit up on a ridge and watch the peach sunsets ,squint my eyes and remember when I could see across the bay to the city from here....

Green rocks are hard to resist for me also! There are so many beautiful varieties in the Pacific Northwest. Rock hounding is such a stress reliever, and a perfect way to forget about all the ugliness going in the world, and completely focus on the beauty and awesomeness of nature. There are so many places to go that are quiet and peaceful and no shortage of natural treasures to find. I'm new to this channel, but I enjoy it very much. Watching the explorations of other rock & treasure hounds, is a great way to enjoy one of my hobbies when I can't get away to go myself, so experiencing it thru the eyes of someone else is the next best thing. And you also explore the same coastal area where I go. (Well, close enough I suppose, I'm in Southern Oregon)
    Thanks for sharing your adventures~
Ps...I feel sorry for all the evil people in the world who only care about money and power and say they care about the environment but they don't. I bet there's no green or blue rocks where they're going when their time is up. What a bunch of idiots. I enjoy every second of being out hounding. The time spent is priceless, yet, often enough, it doesn't cost a thing. Happy hunting~👍😎⛏️🪣👉🏞️⛰️🌌😇✌️

Enjoying your calm style. I have found greenstones on Lake Erie that I thought were metamorphosed basalt. They're very gemmy, translucent and shoreline polished. They're from, I think, the mid-continent rift (Lake Superior) ? Approx 1.2 billion years ago... Erie is a depositional environment, a lot of igneous rocks can be found as glacial till or drift.

Awesome. Crevasse Agate is what you call that? I found a pretty prominent vein of that in the shoreline of a reservoir near me. I took some to one of my old middle school science teachers one day to ask what it was and he had no idea. I keep thinking about going back there to collect some more. I gave it all to Mr. Y that day because he was so interested.
