Every couple days I just have to come back to listen to you play this again and again! I have listened to every artist out there play evocation, but I just come back to listen to you because there’s something very very special about the way you play it it’s so moving and I’m so grateful that you recorded this!
Another thing I listen to on my way to various jobs at least three times in a row is the complete program from the Allstate guitar ensemble. You are a genius. I would give anything to play in an ensemble that you Leed! Those kids KILLED the Telemann man so tight and all those rhythms on the guitar were outrageous, in the other pieces in the one piece they sounded exactly like castanets. I literally screamed the first time I heard that CD I was banging on my steering wheel, and just singing along with it because it was so very very good. You are not just a magical guitarist but you are masterful, teacher, and leader you must be because those kids were in the pocket.!!!! That was one of the smartest moves I ever did after watching that performance bolting to the lobby and purchasing a copy. I know I will just wear it out!!
Yes nice. I feel that you really give everything to ensure every single tone and note is as you want it to be, and everything sounds as it should - instead of a false emotion or trying to find wow factor many other performers attempt. Well done.
So beautifully played - the tune is kept prominent throughout I think this is the same melody Billy Joel plays and whistles on his Stranger album - very catchy and haunting melody ❤️
