We love the Bellagio of the South. Super clean, staff very friendly and hotel nice too. We fly SunCountry from Louisville, KY. Only complaint I had and wrote a physical unanswered letter to them was how cold the casino is. Blood circulation not great, next time I'm wearing a winter coat in summer!
Thanks for the video. Made our first trip there last May when it was warmer, doesn’t look like much has changed. Pool area is great and plenty of casino options. My favorite spot is definitely the sports book. If you don’t sit at the round bar the customer service can be inconsistent. Didn’t try the buffet during my 4 day stay and kind of glad I didn’t now, looked pretty basic/average. Salt & Ivey was pretty good for breakfast, but plenty of really good dining options outside The Beau. I was almost shocked how empty downtown Biloxi is on the weekend, but made for a good experience. Don’t miss going to Ground Zero Blues while visiting. Overall excellent experience, definitely plan on returning.
We have been out there about 5 times on those little junkets. (Air, hotel, room and a small amount of freeplay - they have never included any food credit for us though?) We are going back in a few weeks, and this time they did have the freeplay at $450, but still no food credit for some reason. (Other MGM casinos always offer us the free room, freeplay, and food (about $600 freeplay and $400 food) but maybe the eating places there are not owned by MGM or something?) We actually like going there over Vegas now, and we tend to take 2-3 of these offers per year. (I had a host tell me if you did not take at least one every 6 months, they would drop you off the offers - not sure if that is true or not though.) We always fly out of Texas, and they tend to have about 2 date ranges per month in the offers. The wife enjoys there spa, but it is pricey. I think it runs about $350 for the massage she gets. (I used my reward points last trip to pay for it) She usually only gambles a couple hundred bucks for the entire trip, so the spa is way cheaper on me than if she gambled like I do! .☺ I think those MGM Air offers are given to most reward card holders, but they just bill according to your action. The wife gets the offers, but they are for like $450 per person. When I get them, they are full comps. (but the first couple of times, it was like $50 per person, which they gave back to you in free play.) - About half the time the trips are called comfort options, where you get a seat between each traveler on the plane, so you get extra room, and we tend to only go on those offers now. Like you experienced, the gambling is usually not good to us there. We will win some, but it all gets put back in to action, so we have not been able to maintain a winning streak....it has always been just 1 or 2 wins, and not enough to make you stop playing for the trip and be satisfied with it. The last trip I did hit quads at the Mississippi Stud table, so that funded all the gambling for the trip, and it was about the best we have done out there so far. Cheers!
First timer here and I enjoyed your video. Would you be able to show what the Airline is like? I would be interested in seeing if possible. Thanks for sharing.
It was like any other budget airline but, remember it’s a charter airline which means less planes and more delays. If I do a trip like this again, I’ll talk about and show more about the airline. Thanks for watching.
@@curiousone9944 I’ve been on numerous charter flights on SunCountry going to Biloxi and Atlantic City , I’ve only experienced a delay one time , and everyone received extra freeplay when we arrived per Casino Host / Greeter
They have regular flights on a 737, where they fill the plane. (3 seats on each side) They also have comfort trip options at times, where they leave the middle seat open. We tend to only go on these offers now. We fly out of Texas, and they offer about 2 date ranges each month, from the 4 major airports. (Different dates for different airports.) - These are always chartered aircraft, which means everyone on it is traveling on the same type of offer, though they have their own costs they are charged, which depends on your gambling action. It will range from free up to about $550 per person usually. It is always on Sun Country Airlines, which is a very small and budget carrier. They do usually give you a free drink and chips though, at least on the comfort travel options. We have been about 5 times, and so far, they have had on-time departures, and all of ours have been non-stop service. As for the casino, it is about the best one in the Biloxi area. It is getting old (about 25 years now). It is starting to show in the rooms. A few times we have had the shower leak around the base, letting the bathroom floor get very wet. Some have mold around the sink fixtures, etc....Still though - I would put it on par with say Park MGM on cleanliness but for the area in relation to the other casinos, the Beau would be an 8 and the next highest would be around a 5 overall. We have always found that the majority of the staff (80% and up) are very friendly, and act like they really appreciate your business. (Unlike say the Bellagio, where the staff act like they are doing you a favor to let you spend your money there - at least this has been our experience over the past 3 years)
We always walk over there when we go to the Beau, just to take a break and get a meal. This next trip in Sep I am going to give them some action and see what type of offers it will produce. - We are in Texas, and the offers at the Beau are full comps to include air, so I don't think the Rock would be able to match those offers, since they are an independent, but I may be wrong.
I will be going there for my first time in April..ty for the great video

Nice job on your video. My husband and I took the Caesars trip late January. We enjoyed it also. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
I’ve always enjoyed their buffet , the crawfish etouffee is always on point , and the seafood and prime rib was good as well
Mostly you can’t go wrong with a buffet, so many options. Thanks for watching.

Airline is what you would expect. Usually a 737 type jet. No problems

They used to not have coffee makers in the rooms .
The crack in that marble table if it's still there is from Katrina .
We do this a lot. We will be there in a couple weeks.
My first time and I will go back.
Im planning on coming to that hotel in 2 months it looks nice.
It’s a very nice hotel, it’s an awesome choice.
No, it’s not Vegas but it was good for Biloxi and I look forward to going back!!
Me too.
The Hard Rock is the Place!
