SO GOOD. I loved the last part about Jesus's example. He prepared His disciples, gave them everything they needed, told them He would always be there for them, and then gave them the most important mission in the world. He sent them out equipped, but didn't tell them HOW to do it. What a beautiful example of leadership! And they all did it differently because God created us all uniquely. Thank you, Craig, for your incredible commitment to your calling and for the excellent, life changing leadership principles you share.
Pastor Craig, this is one of the best leadership podcasts you've ever done. I've painstakingly learned some of this the hardest ways possible over the years. Listening to you spell it all out with such clarity is so helpful and refreshing. Thank you for building up leaders! Can't wait for part 2!
Hi Craig Thank you so much for taking time to teach leadership . I am Denyl, a medical doctor writing from India. I have been following your podcasts for years now. I have been into pioneering hospitals for the last decades. I can relate to every ounce of material you bring out. I must tell you I have grown as a person and as a leader. I have a small but incredible team that I lead . This content is exceptional very true and thank you for bringing it up.
Thank you for this podcast. I am now in this process with all my leaders in our Connect Team, where I delegated tasks, but moving on to delegating authority. This is very valuable. Helga Henery, Thrive Church, Edenvale campus in Boksburg, South Africa
Oh my goodness gracious I am speechless! He did it again! This mighty Pastor always has so many relatable subjects, but he blows my mind every single time I watch one of his videos. And it’s always exactly what I need to hear in that very moment! I cannot wait to share this video with not only my friends and family, but I will be 💯 will share it in my social media, post about it, most about it ❤ I’ll tag and show all of my upper managerial role friends who many many many of them are either managers of hospitals, owners, leaders, in all types of companies… definitely in the hospital settings, Bar industries, everything! I am 39. I have worked in numerous different fields, one that I’ve been doing for a long time which is mental health and I absolutely love it! It’s actually one of the reasons that drew me closer to this amazing pastor it is the way that he not only educates, is vulnerable, is so significant in the way that he preaches, but so connective to so many different things in my life and my family and friends! Knowing Jesus and hearing him and others speak about him the way they do makes my heart happier than any drug, man, money, any things in the world. I would take hearing the word of God and feeling that love that I get from hearing it, any day anytime! Praise God for speaking through this amazing man, and this wonderful pastor, just being exactly who he is, and being strong and learning through his journey to spread all the love and awareness he does! Sorry, I know that’s really long, might not make sense. It’s really late here in Arizona, but I had to share!
This was my first time listening to your podcast, and I was amazed by everything you shared. When you mentioned being a faith leader and a God-fearing follower of Jesus, I was even more excited! I’ve definitely subscribed and will be sharing this with others. Thank you for your insights!
Thank you for such invaluable information. I am Leslie Ann, a follower of Jesus Christ from Trinidad and Tobago, and have been impacting lives for over 37 years as a teacher. I totally agree with you about the importance of letting go, my philosophy is to "GROW individuals so that they can GO!" They must be able to go to the next level of development. Recently I founded an NGO and placed two young persons in leadership positions, training them for the work of the organization. I saw a change in them almost immediately, when I would assign tasks and allow them to "run" with the assigned projects, they couldn't believe that I would have such confidence in their abilities. I most certainly don't micromanage, realizing that I get the best results whenever people are allowed to use their creativity. Thank you again looking forward to further podcasts. Be blessed. in Jesus' Name.
Incredibly important information here - listening from Belize C.A. I help in leading Fusion Church, also a manager in day job. Every leader needs to hear this content!
Watching from Georgia! - potential top of discussion: leadership burnout. Knowing how to identify when you need to rest as a leader and not reach burnout mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Man, I'd love to see Craig interview Leif Babin or Jocko Willink from Echelon Front. They are big believers in decentralized command from their book Extreme Ownership and their other book The Dichotomy of Leadership. They talk about leader paradoxes as well and finding balance. Would love to see these guys talk together!
I'd love to address best practices for emerging leaders who have the talent and now need to gain credibility as they go into the next level of leadership. Getting rid of the imposter syndrome that is not a product of not being an SME but dealing with self- doubt, the nagging feeling you don't belong at the table.🙏🏼
What does TRUST entail in an organizational framework?? what are the components that constitute trust?? kindly break it down for us in your next podcast, thanks
Not so much a question.. I would love to hear from successful leaders who battle with mental health or physical limitations. How do do they lead when they don’t feel “equipped” because of their “limitations?
Great podcast as always! I have a question though, based on a very recent experience I had in planning/executing a large event. How do you handle it when you equip your people, train them, then delegate a task to them and they simply don't do the task or fail at the task completely and it then it falls back on you to complete? Dont get me wrong, I see a lot of areas where I went wrong in choosing who to delegate where. Lots of learning in my end, the hard way. But how do you deal with the conversation after everything is said and done? Do you continue to trust that person and chalk it up to new leadership lessons?
Start in the book of John, then read Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Those will give you a clear picture of who Jesus is and what his mission was. The rest of the Bible is all connected to him!
Hi Pastor! I've been wondering if it's good to give examples that are not written in the Bible but which are referred to these books that are often called gbostic or any other resources that are denied by chrisianity since they weren't added in the Bible, won't it be like the Bible only isn't enough?? Thank you!!
Before a patient seek medical help for their condition, they must first be willing to rely upon the physician's medical knowledge and expertise in order for them to have a high level of confidence that they will see some improvement. If for some reason the physician fails to provide the correct advice, the patient will NOT see any improvements at all. If a parishioner seek spiritual advice from a minister, they must first be willing to trust him enough to expect to see an improvement in their current situation. If for some reason the minister fails to provide the parishioners with the correct advice, then the parishioners will NOT see a change in their current situation. If applied correctly to our situations, the word of God will NEVER fail to yield some immediate results in the times of need. 📖 Psalm 46:1 📖 God is our refuge and strength, a very PRESENT HELP (in) trouble. 🕊🙏🏾❤️🕊🙏🏾❤️🕊🙏🏾❤️

What advice do you have for speaking up when you're a part of the team but not the one making the calls?
Can this transfer over to marriage
