- Motorcycle ka Engine Oil kab change karna hai, isko lekar bahut sara confusion logo ko hota hai. Kuch log kahte ki 2-3 month me change kar lo aur kuch kahte hai 2000-3000 km me, wahi company kahti hai 6000-10000 hone pe oil change karna chahiye.

When you feel more vibration (and if there is frequent use of choke due to cold weather).
My apche 200 says to change after 6000 kms using synthetic oil. But after 4200kms the oil can't reduce engine vibration at high rev due to loss of viscosity. So i do change at about 3900 kms. Repeated start and stop also reduce the oil quality. It doesnt depend on the km you drive but the feel of engine is more important

Synthetic oil is not necessary for the small engines, it is meant for very high speed engines like sport cars and airplanes. Bike companies recommend normal mineral oil. So don't waste money on synthetic oil.
Mere manual me synthetic ka likha ha...and service centre wale fully synthetic hi dalte ha khudse..nhi to waranty nhi milega
Yes bro that is correct. We can't simply use fully synthetic engine oil on regular bikes as it may not be compatible with the engine & gearbox. Mineral or semi synthetic is fine for below 180 cc commuter bikes . Fully synthetic performance oils are generally required by sports bikes above 180-200cc, otherwise its a waste of money with no real benefits.

Thanks for the info brother. It was very informative. But what I've heard many a times that when they say change the oil after like 7000 Kms so it means change it after 3500 Kms on the meter. Or whatever the number like if it has to be changed after 2000 so that means 1000 Kms because those Kms are not being metered when the bike was start at neutral or has been left its engine turned on in traffic. Do you have to say anything about it brother? Thanks.
When the vehicle is in neutral or in idle position (traffic) , not much lubrication required thats why we don't count those kms

I use semi synthetic oil for my bullet 350 and get it changed at 4500-5000kms or 10 months, whichever is earlier. My running is generally less than 5000kms a year.

Bro engine oil should be used according to enjine type. I don’t think only fully synthesis should be always used. Sometime fully synthetic oil creates problems in normal 100 cc bikes , life damage of clutch plates because of high slippery. Please don’t provide a wrong information if u are not aware of it. I recently bought a second hand tvs streak scotty 2012 model and just replaced the engine oil. Now I am planing to do a full service in 1 month or so. It is working fine engine looks smooth and self start sometimes give problem after running few kilometers it works fine. As I do not know history of the service what do you suggest to service? Would it be advisable to get it services at authorized service centre ?

Looking at the current road conditions and traffic, it is not advisable to run 6k km with semi-synthetic oil, you should change your oil in about 4k km

Sir the bike is run only 5 kilometer after first service. According to user manual of bike the second service is near. Can I refill the new engine oil or not? because it's second service day are completed.
