Now that's a classic Mercedes, back when they were really something special. I like the wood on the dash top. Simple design - great engineering. Thanks guys, this was nice to see!
I can't explain how awesome this is! Definitely agree on the factory radio, what a time capsule and German masterpiece, absolutely beautiful, nice sounding car🤷😍
Super glad to see a manual transmission where it ought to be !! I personally find cars like this with an auto trans to be offensive and insulting to how it should truly feel when driven. Maybe I'm just old, but some things were meant to be a certain way. It's not the car for me, but I do really hope it finds a loving permanent home.
@@christianbugatticg agreed. To me, anything smaller than a mid-size of any year, make or model needs to be a manual for me to feel I have control. In the world of collectibles, its about being able to feel and experience what the designers had in mind for the fullest performance experience. Its a crime that most youth today have never even heard the word "clutch" or things like "3 on the tree" and "4 on the floor".

They say a manual transmission is today's anti theft device for this generation! lol @@the23rdbryan

Nice car but both plates on the radiator frame are overstamped. 👀
I have no idea. I bought it because it looked cool. Thanks!
@@christianbugatticgIts may be not a problem but overstamped VINs are a warning sign - not only for old Merces. 😉
