For the sunshade part, when it retracts its the spring that and the motor when during close its the motor pushing the guides. If i have a problem vehicle for sure i will make a video.
@@hyundaitech Great video! Do the gasket covers on the drive and passenger side that you removed to access the bolts snap back into place easily? Anything specific thing to do to make it snap back in?
Hello, I'm also in the process of replacing my tilt lever, but I'm not sure which lubricant I should use. Which spray did you use to lubricate the tilt lever and the tracks?
In this video i believe i use a white lithum grease, but googling whats best to use , its the silicone grease. When you apply those product make sure the track is clean and just apply lightly.
Great video by the way!!!! Can you show a video on a 2011 Hyundai Genesis how to connect the arms for the tilt and slide back guide rails. I don't know how to connect the arms back after I replace the guide rails my phone broke and I lost the photos that I took before uninstalling it. I don't see any videos on this besides one video and it doesn't show you step by step how to do it he shows you what he did to get the guide rails replaced and then the video skips to The guy completing the job without really showing us how it's done.
Great video. I’m experiencing something similar. My problem is the back of the sunroof will not close all the way down. The front side does close. The rear stays open. I also hear a clicking noise when it’s closing. Could the tilt levers cause this?
Love the in depth guide and how you didn't have to take down the whole headliner for this job
Ooo new intro! Nice
Hahaha trying to step up my game hahah thanks again.
Nice video bro....!! Mine got stuck have way open...doesnt close..is thats why..?? Levers.?.. keep up the good work...!!
Yeah most likely the tilt guides.
@@hyundaitech thanks bro..
Can you please make a video on how to repair the cloth portion of the moonroof? Mine won’t roll up as it retract.

Thanks for this video. Please what types of tools do I need ?
Thanks
I think you need t20 ot t25 torx to undo all the screws for the sunroof.
I wish you had shown how to put the side gaskets back on. Is this the same as a 2015 Santa Fe Limited pretty much? Thanks
You mean the gasket from the outside or the cover plastic inside the car? Yeah should be the same

@@rocenyceroc they just go in to the groove, i think you will hear like a click sound or you will feel it when you push it in.

Since i work in a dealer, i rarely see that model year vehicle in our shop, but yeah if i will encounter one i will try to make a video.

Theres a chance that it could be the tilt lever too
Excellent ,you have vedio kia sorento 2014 ?
For same sunroof removal? I think hyundai and kia should be the same.
@hyundaitech thanks for answers
Please can I have part number for this lever I have the same problem
Hi to be honest the tilt lever is vehicle specific, my advice is gove your vin to dealer to get that specific part. Hope that helps
