I don’t think it is possible for anyone to watch Jimin perform Serendipity and not be completely captivated by him. It doesn’t matter if you are male or female, young or old, gay or straight (or anything in between). He was beautiful and talented before Serendipity, and had amazing moments. But he truly came into his own here, he was suddenly a man, and in total command of his incredible sensuality, displaying his grace and beauty, and sharing his soul with us. How could we not just love him? I had no particular bias before serendipity, but Jimin has owned me ever since. I have been delightfully bias-wrecked by most of the others on various occasions and I just adore them as a group. But Jimin owns me. I have never been the type of person to “fall in love with” a celebrity - EVER. I am a registered nurse, for heavens sake - you can’t find a more pragmatic and realistic person than me, I have seen death, grief and horror, the human condition at its worst, and I have been blessed to see joy and beauty and heroism, the human condition at its absolute best. My vocation has always been my purpose. Jimin does not know I exist, and I am not a child, filled with fantasy, and my life is full, busy, meaningful. Yet Jimin owns me 🤷♂️I’ve stopped fighting it, it is what it is 😂😂. I don’t understand it. I probably never will...

One of the all time great Jimin reactions :) Like how almost uncomfortably and completely captivated DT is! "aaagh, let's try to get through this." The end result is always the same ... he realizes there no getting over JM. Literally, watch Dt before he presses play 2:16 (aww so innocently unaware of what's about to happen to him) and compare to DT after he has watched both videos... 11:08 a different man. At 2:36 he starts nodding like aww that's cute, I like that. But by 2:49 when the cosmos show up and he's singing 'I am you, you are me', JM has spun us all/DT into a sweet sweet trance. Approaching danger levels of captivation in 20, 19 .... Somewhere between 3:11 and 3:20 is where I believe the full effect began to take over.. by 4:12 he is beyond the point of turning back.. Notice at 5:28 he lashes out a bit, mad at JM for being so pretty, and at 5:36 he tries to order JM around, which is what is called reactive dominance, something people do when they realize they don't actually have control. Well, okay that's a fake term, but it definitely applies here! At 5:45 he is steeling himself for more attacks, but he might as well wear armor made out of bubbles lol.. Jimin do this to everyone. I feel like he's either your bias when you first start out or he's continuously bias wrecking you. No one is surprised at this point, we just accept Park Jimin as his on sexuality.
Watching this, it just hit me how good of a dancer he is.If you can jump so flawlessly from performance to performance without ruining anything about the dance with the cuts that means his body is always at the exact same position and his limbs at at the exact same angles at any given point of the choreo. That's an amazing feat!
