Another one of my favorite Mass songs/Responsorial Psalms. Fitting as a Communion song on days wherein Psalm 62 is the Psalm of the Day (especially on the 8th Sunday in Ordinary Time Cycle A). May we place our trust always in the Lord, who is our Rock and Salvation, and who will always protect us and guard us from any troubles that come in life.
When challenges comes breaking your inner peace and confidence but the word of God and His promise inspire us, keep our faith and hope to move forward and keep the peace that sustains us to remain unshaken with the spirit of courage from God.
The first time I heard this was watching the Pope at the Youth Mass in the Philippines! Absolutely heartfelt, the melody and of course, the psalm text speaks for itself.

My Soul finds rest
Chorus 1
My soul finds rest in God alone
My salvation comes from Him
He alone is my rock
My salvation, my fortress
I shall never be afraid
I shall never be afraid
My soul finds rest in God alone
Mu salvation comes from Him
He alone is my rock
My salvation, my fortress
I shall never be afraid
I shall never be afraid
Trust in Him at all times
Of people of God
Pour out your hearts to Him
He is our refuge
And He is our hope
My soul finds rest in God alone
My salvation comes from Him
He alone is my rock
My salvation, my fortress
I shall never be afraid
I shall never be afraid
Rest your heart not in riches
Nor honor of the world
Weighed out with the heart of God
These blow to nothingness
Vanished like breath
Repeat chorus 1:
You, Yourself, Lord, have said
I am your strength,
I am your deliverer
Loving and merciful, father of all
