Very nice topic and discussion between Prof. J. Flynn and Dr. S. Lilliu. I think the next step is Netflix, in order to reduce the gap between the academia and society in a near to dear way!
The way to fix universities is to have them charge the students a percentage of their income over a fixed period of time. That way the university is forced to only provide classes that will lead to a real job, the student doesn't have to pay upfront, and the better job they do of educating students will be reflected with a bigger payment to the university.
