Apart from being the best rapper in Africa I have realised that Octopizzo is also a great historian...for sure that sisal scene, Mboya was born by poor parents who migrated all the way from Homa Bay to Kiambu to work on sisal farm. Octo released this song on 5th July on the very day Mboya was gunned down. Congrats wuod Ohanga Jasigana for honoring Tom Mboya, Ken Okoth, Milton Obote amongst other legends and making this great masterpiece.

Music is an Art. This guy from Day one uses his art to portray vision of what he feels is right. I love the way he expresses his vision from "Mama" about his late mama, "Swag" about what he thinks about sense of fashion and swag, "Voices of Kibera" about his hood and what his experience was while there. Also, we have "Noma" where he throws heavy punchlines to prove he is king. Damn the list is endless. Boom he comes with "Tom Mboya" and I just feel like we need to tell our stories more and rise up not only as Kenyans but as black people for what we believe in and push as our heroes did in the past. Big up Octo bana you will always be an inspiration not only to the fans but to other artists.
