The B61 was a styling masterpiece. It looked like a dog! I've loved these things since my youth and I'm 67. I especially love the sound of those B's that had air starters. Mad Max would have been proud.

Loved the B Model. I used to drive a B Model boggy drive in North West Australia pulling a three trailer road train, either cattle or general freight in the Kimberly's when I was a teenager in the late 60's. Spent a lot of time gear changing of course. Sometimes had 100 ton up behind that thing on dirt outback roads

Used to drive the B model Mack back in early 60`s. Had to be a hunchback to fit in it. It had a duplex transmission and the mechanic heated the 2 sticks so I could shift it with one hand, using my palm to split the gears. It was a real tank but got the job done. Great video and my compliments to you for keeping the old iron going.

Wow, bad ass Mack, I always preferred a Mack, drove a 1988 Biscayne model Mack, 5 speed, she didn’t like hills but on a flat highway, she tore up the road, she was the fastest rig in the yard, never broke down on me, mechanically, came to work one day, and she was transferred to another terminal, bummer. The owner of NEMF had several restored Mack’s, nicely done and a mint green interior, real nice!!

I picked up 2 for my old rigs and they work like a charm. You don't see much torsion bar suspension on 70s trucks. Some old rig collectors might be interested in the torsion suspension and axles if you've thought about selling them.

Kenworth has the small 350 cummins. Engine work on the mack?!?!?! Fuck.....That's a story in itself lol! Make this short and sweet. When I got it, suppose to add a battery and it will start up. Every fuel line was rotted, I fixed those, went to start it, I had a stuck valve, bent push rod. And one valve was hardly even there it was so old and rusted it was about half the size it should be. Sooooo yea everything on the engine sucked. Oh and the injection pump plungers were all locked up and the injectors were all junk. So lol. Hope that answered some questions. Now, runs smooth.
