I have to thank this show for not just showing me how a good romantic relationship looks, but good platonic freinds, family, and romantic relationships. It really helped me learn as a person. I'm 18, and for the past 3 years since this show first aired, The Owl House helped me get through high school and now my first year of college. It gave me something to look forward to, something to hope for, and a sense of belonging since all my life I've been a weirdo too. I'm upset that the show ended with such a short final season, but I'm happy that it came into my life. Thank you Dana Terrace, for all the joy you brought into my life!
As the legend Dr. Seuss said: "Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened." I think I can say from all the fandom that we are all so grateful and thankful for this show that pushed the boundaries of what could be shown on Disney. This show has changed so many peoples lives for the better, and we all feel so angry for some of the higher ups at Disney for cutting it short. However, despite the cancellation, we will never forget these characters and world. All of us will always be weirdos who always stick together.

I watched it two times already This is something I noticed in the end credits: -Gus and Vee are probably working together because behind Gus we see an banner 'demon realm-earth exchange program' with the logo in the middle... Vee is wearing a shirt with the same logo. -Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus, Hunter (and probably Vee and more) have Flapjack tattoos on their arms -on Lilith plans for the museum built in the library you can see that hooty is supposed to be the museums curator I noticed more but I'm too lazy to write the rest tbh

I did expect myself to cry, but I didn’t expect myself to sob throughout the whole episode. Neither did I expect myself to feel not the cold sensation of a tear drip down my face, but the warm. I haven’t felt the warmth of a tear for years, and neither do I remember the last time I did. It felt nice. Thank you, The Owl House. It's actually a really simple method for characterization. If you want to show the audience the core belief or being of your character, put them in deadly situation and have them react accordingly. bro died thinking he is in the right. i lowkey wanted him somehow to realize he is wrong and then die. i just wanted to see him more in general, like caleb, evelyn and philip flashback. it sucks that the show got cut. i hate it.
As much of I loved what Dana and her team were able to do for this finale along with the 3 specials we were given, I'll never forgive Disney for cutting the whole 3rd season we originally would've gotten. Like consider what could've happened if we've gotten 20 whole episodes.
I am praying that Dana gets her own animation studio. 😭 Maybe they'll release the rest of the episodes in comics. Hunter is still blushing with Willow. 😊 And I wanna hug Morgan so much. 🥲 This is one of those shows that deserved better than what their companies did to them. They deserved to last longer.

This show was the one show I was there for when the trailer for it came out. Immediately I loved Luz, and I discovered a long while after that it was out. For 3 years, I worked through my depression, self-doubt, etc. This was something I could use as a distraction from it all, and I'm so glad I had this show to look to and get confidence from in my sexuality. I can proudly say that I am a lesbian without fear or struggle because of a show like this. I'm not totally better, no, but I'm in a much happier place and The Owl House was there for all of it. Thank you Dana Terrace, thank you Morgan Terry, thank you all the youtubers and animators and generally great people in this fandom. Anyone fighting their own battles? You'll get through this. Its so dark right now, but one day, through hard work and support, you'll turn on the lights. -A TOH fan
The Hexside Squad do indeed have matching Flapjack tattoos. Hunter's is on his wrist (where his coven sigil used to be!!) Luz, Amity and Willow have it on their left arms and Gus' is on his ankle. I've been losing my mind over it all day

I just wanted to comment and say, this fandom as grown, from Gravity Falls fans, to Amphibia, and now to The Owl House, but the road won't end there. One day, we'll have another enthusiastic show to chant over about, and it will change more lives for the better. That's not to say that none of these amazing shows will be forgotten, and I think The Owl House especially has earned a place in our hearts. Us weridos have to stick together. I'll see you all in the next series.
This finale was just beautiful. All the characters fought hard and they stuck together and now their all happy together, which after such a hard fight and all that drama is how it should be. I like this more than many other finales I've seen, including Amphibias. And the fact that, as we can see by some of Luz's pictures in her room the people of the Demon Realm have been interacting more with the people of Gravesfeild and the fact that Eda's school has an Earth and Demon Realm exchange program, means I am now 100% sure with how widespread it's growing that magic and other dimensions exist that one day Luz and the others will meet up with either Anne and her friends or Mr. X, Dr. Jan, and Terri and give them the help they need to reopen the portal to Amphibia. It will still be a while in universe of course, since Amphibia and Owl House mostly take place concurrently to each, with Anne and her friends finishing the final battle over in Amphibia a little bit before Luz and the Hexside Squad make it to Earth at the end of Season 2 based on that article Camilia was reading, so even after this 3 to 4 year time skip at the end of The Owl House were still about 6 years away from Anne, Marcy, and Sasha reuniting in the Amphibia time skip, and it will still take time for King's powers and Human technology to advance enough for it to be ready. But I'm now 120% confident shortly after that the girls or again Mr. X and the others will meet up with Luz and the gang and reopen the portal so the Calamity Girls can reunite with their found Amphibia families after all family and weirdos got to stick together. So all that's left to say is thank you Dana and everyone else who worked on this great show. And thank you Terry and all the other great reactors and fans out there who contributed so much to this series with your own works. :)

I really do wish we got a proper season 3 though, because maybe then the writers would have done what myself and other fanfic writers had hoped for and have Marcy move to Gravesfield after the final battle in Amphibia, she could have interacted with Luz, and the gang while they were on Earth. She could have been a valuable ally to the team on Earth, just like the Human characters in Amphiba were to Anne and the Planters. And the gang could have in turn helped Marcy come out of her shell, after all, there just as weird as she is and weirdos stick together. Heck, her parents could probably even help Camila deal with her stress about the whole thing given they went through the same thing with Marcy. Aw, what might have been.
A magnificent conclusion and yet I want two more series; 1) the spinoff prequel with Eda and Lily that Luz wanted to watch and 2) Luz and the gang in college. We likely will not get them, but I still want them! Happily that does not diminish my enjoyment of what we did get.
There are 3 huge differences between Luz and Belos/Philip 1. He ruined lives, he darkened paths, he always did that; Luz fixed all those lives and she gives light to people's paths, she did it for as long as she could remember, and because of him, for a moment she came to forget, but not anymore. 2. Luz lives in the present and looks at the future; he decided to stay in the past. And 3: both ended up on the edge of their own abysses (he on the death, lies, darkness and hate; she on the guilt, self-deprecation, pain and self pity) both they ended up so close that they practically slipped and ended up hanging from a very thin ledge; but before they fell, when their beloved offered a hand to get out, he got loose.
The whole time skip seemed like a thank you/love letter to the fans. Thanks to you for your part in the Owl House journey - I've watched all your Owl House reaction videos and there are things I understand about why this show was so important because of you.
It sucks that I only joined the fandom in November 2022, so I only got to watch episode 2 and 3 with the rest of the fandom, but it was great while it lasted! 😭
I can confidently say that I also was a blubbering mess during my reaction as well. I will miss the show just as much as I'll miss the reactions you have given us all. Love this show and you had a great reaction to such a wonderful conclusion!

It’s ridiculous. Willow started working out hard to become a flyer, derby captain, and anybody who works out will tell you the first place the weight loss shows up as in the face.
22:05 As a matter of clarification: That's not an awakening of power, it's a grief fueled berserker rage. It does increase power temporarily, but not for very long. Think of Anne when she thought Sprout was dead in season 2. Not a true awakening but a rageful burst of power.

I fucking hate myself for not being able to overcome my ADHD and to just watch the damn show while it was still going. While it was thriving and full of community and theories and fun. I will forever mourn the opportunity to be part of a great moment in time. I can enjoy fan works and the show retroactively... But I've missed out on the best moments of the community. Watching these videos, binging them all, gave me that feeling of what I missed out on though... I'd talk to the screen, replying, theorizing, frankly I was going insane talking to **you** at the screen. But it felt... just a little... like I was there in that point of time. I'm glad I can at least be here for the end and I didn't miss all of it... But at least I had your videos to feel that fleeting feeling of what I missed. The episode was so good. I wonder if anyone realized that when Luz shouted, Eat this sucka!" She was quoting Azura from the very first episode where we saw Azura pull out a rocket launcher to beat a monster. Truly a full circle kind of moment where the hero defeats the villain at the end.

I was surprised you didn't catch Willow's flapjack tattoo when you paused on her waving to Hunter while he was carving! Though I get it, there was a LOT going on in that shot, lmao. It took me looking at the whole scene a second time and pausing with intention to realize what the tattoos actually were. Now I know this had been the end of the Owl House show, I don't think this needs to be the end of this world entirely. Unlike pass shows like this such as Gravity Falls and Amphibia, this series has the most potential for future content such as comics and other shows. Especially consider how it ended with Luz going to the Demon Realm for college, we could see her adventures continue with Eda, King, Amity and all her other friends in a sequel show.

this episode was such a satisfying finale in so many ways and did so much well. i was just a little sad to think about all the extra things we could've gotten if we only had more time. we can only hope we get more owl house content in some form. two of my personal hangups are that we barely got v screentime and that we never really got to delve into hunter's trauma and see him work through that. i'll just have to assume that offscreen he's seeing a therapist lol. we also didn't get much of him being a part of the noceda family in the finale so i also am just going to assume he bounces around his adoptive parents/families (darius, the clawthornes, and camila) + the fact that they made the final 3 episodes spell out thanks for watching makes me want to scream and sob. so much love went into this show. im really going to miss it. there's something about. when people get to make their passion project and share that with the world and they're just so thankful to have gotten the chance and for the support they've received even if they get screwed over. it's very heartwarming to see and makes me really emotional. also can we all just applaud the crew for not going "friendship and forgiveness is always the answer, even for people who are the scum of the earth" they said F THAT stomp this man's corpse. love everything said about/the actions taken towards belos this episode. he really is one of the best villains i've seen in a long time, not even just in cartoons.
also after having the whole day to process. im pretty disappointed hunter wasn't able to get in on the belos stomping. if anyone deserved to be there it was him. but i understand why they weren't able to do it like that, and time restraints etc etc. i can headcanon that luz and eda saved a scrap of belos to bring back so hunter could stomp on it lol + something i connected on my first watch that idk if other people mentioned but luz's titan form feels a little bit like a nod to the bodyswap episode in s1 in which king was in luz's body so she had his eyes and fang.

I'm 18, and for the past 3 years since this show first aired, The Owl House helped me get through high school and now my first year of college. It gave me something to look forward to, something to hope for, and a sense of belonging since all my life I've been a weirdo too. I'm upset that the show ended with such a short final season, but I'm happy that it came into my life.

I think I can say from all the fandom that we are all so grateful and thankful for this show that pushed the boundaries of what could be shown on Disney. This show has changed so many peoples lives for the better, and we all feel so angry for some of the higher ups at Disney for cutting it short. However, despite the cancellation, we will never forget these characters and world. All of us will always be weirdos who always stick together.

-Gus and Vee are probably working together because behind Gus we see an banner 'demon realm-earth exchange program' with the logo in the middle... Vee is wearing a shirt with the same logo.

small thing I liked is that Edric was also a teacher at Eda's univeristy too. and that both Eda and Lilith both are headmasters as it's implied Lilith took over hexside.
I did expect myself to cry, but I didn’t expect myself to sob throughout the whole episode. Neither did I expect myself to feel not the cold sensation of a tear drip down my face, but the warm. I haven’t felt the warmth of a tear for years, and neither do I remember the last time I did. It felt nice. Thank you, The Owl House. I cried four minutes in when I realized Luz was reflecting her inner thoughts and anxieties. And then I went completely still with my jaw dropped when Luz died. I wasn’t even breathing. That scene still makes me tear up watching clips of it and I know what happens now 😭 and the endingggg omg the end was so good and bittersweet made me feel so sentimental and and all kinds of other things

As much of I loved what Dana and her team were able to do for this finale along with the 3 specials we were given, I'll never forgive Disney for cutting the whole 3rd season we originally would've gotten. Like consider what could've happened if we've gotten 20 whole episodes.

This show was the one show I was there for when the trailer for it came out. Immediately I loved Luz, and I discovered a long while after that it was out. For 3 years, I worked through my depression, self-doubt, etc. This was something I could use as a distraction from it all, and I'm so glad I had this show to look to and get confidence from in my sexuality. I can proudly say that I am a lesbian without fear or struggle because of a show like this. I'm not totally better, no, but I'm in a much happier place and The Owl House was there for all of it. Thank you Dana Terrace, thank you Morgan Terry, thank you all the youtubers and animators and generally great people in this fandom. Anyone fighting their own battles? You'll get through this. Its so dark right now, but one day, through hard work and support, you'll turn on the lights.

I just wanted to comment and say, this fandom as grown, from Gravity Falls fans, to Amphibia, and now to The Owl House, but the road won't end there. One day, we'll have another enthusiastic show to chant over about, and it will change more lives for the better. That's not to say that none of these amazing shows will be forgotten, and I think The Owl House especially has earned a place in our hearts. Us weridos have to stick together. I'll see you all in the next series.
This finale was just beautiful. All the characters fought hard and they stuck together and now their all happy together, which after such a hard fight and all that drama is how it should be.
I like this more than many other finales I've seen, including Amphibias. And the fact that, as we can see by some of Luz's pictures in her room the people of the Demon Realm have been interacting more with the people of Gravesfeild and the fact that Eda's school has an Earth and Demon Realm exchange program, means I am now 100% sure with how widespread it's growing that magic and other dimensions exist that one day Luz and the others will meet up with either Anne and her friends or Mr. X, Dr. Jan, and Terri and give them the help they need to reopen the portal to Amphibia. It will still be a while in universe of course, since Amphibia and Owl House mostly take place concurrently to each, with Anne and her friends finishing the final battle over in Amphibia a little bit before Luz and the Hexside Squad make it to Earth at the end of Season 2 based on that article Camilia was reading, so even after this 3 to 4 year time skip at the end of The Owl House were still about 6 years away from Anne, Marcy, and Sasha reuniting in the Amphibia time skip, and it will still take time for King's powers and Human technology to advance enough for it to be ready. But I'm now 120% confident shortly after that the girls or again Mr. X and the others will meet up with Luz and the gang and reopen the portal so the Calamity Girls can reunite with their found Amphibia families after all family and weirdos got to stick together.
So all that's left to say is thank you Dana and everyone else who worked on this great show.
And thank you Terry and all the other great reactors and fans out there who contributed so much to this series with your own works. :)

I really do wish we got a proper season 3 though, because maybe then the writers would have done what myself and other fanfic writers had hoped for and have Marcy move to Gravesfield after the final battle in Amphibia, she could have interacted with Luz, and the gang while they were on Earth. She could have been a valuable ally to the team on Earth, just like the Human characters in Amphiba were to Anne and the Planters. And the gang could have in turn helped Marcy come out of her shell, after all, there just as weird as she is and weirdos stick together. Heck, her parents could probably even help Camila deal with her stress about the whole thing given they went through the same thing with Marcy. Aw, what might have been.
I'm always here for an emotional conclusion. Even though it's over, the journey was incredible. At least for me that is.
A magnificent conclusion and yet I want two more series; 1) the spinoff prequel with Eda and Lily that Luz wanted to watch and 2) Luz and the gang in college. We likely will not get them, but I still want them! Happily that does not diminish my enjoyment of what we did get.
There are 3 huge differences between Luz and Belos/Philip
1. He ruined lives, he darkened paths, he always did that; Luz fixed all those lives and she gives light to people's paths, she did it for as long as she could remember, and because of him, for a moment she came to forget, but not anymore.
2. Luz lives in the present and looks at the future; he decided to stay in the past.
And 3: both ended up on the edge of their own abysses (he on the death, lies, darkness and hate; she on the guilt, self-deprecation, pain and self pity) both they ended up so close that they practically slipped and ended up hanging from a very thin ledge; but before they fell, when their beloved offered a hand to get out, he got loose.

22:05 As a matter of clarification: That's not an awakening of power, it's a grief fueled berserker rage. It does increase power temporarily, but not for very long. Think of Anne when she thought Sprout was dead in season 2. Not a true awakening but a rageful burst of power.

I fucking hate myself for not being able to overcome my ADHD and to just watch the damn show while it was still going. While it was thriving and full of community and theories and fun. I will forever mourn the opportunity to be part of a great moment in time. I can enjoy fan works and the show retroactively... But I've missed out on the best moments of the community. Watching these videos, binging them all, gave me that feeling of what I missed out on though... I'd talk to the screen, replying, theorizing, frankly I was going insane talking to **you** at the screen. But it felt... just a little... like I was there in that point of time. I'm glad I can at least be here for the end and I didn't miss all of it... But at least I had your videos to feel that fleeting feeling of what I missed. I hope I don't miss out on the next best thing.

The episode was so good. I wonder if anyone realized that when Luz shouted, Eat this sucka!" She was quoting Azura from the very first episode where we saw Azura pull out a rocket launcher to beat a monster. Truly a full circle kind of moment where the hero defeats the villain at the end.

Now I know this had been the end of the Owl House show, I don't think this needs to be the end of this world entirely.
Unlike pass shows like this such as Gravity Falls and Amphibia, this series has the most potential for future content such as comics and other shows. Especially consider how it ended with Luz going to the Demon Realm for college, we could see her adventures continue with Eda, King, Amity and all her other friends in a sequel show.

this episode was such a satisfying finale in so many ways and did so much well. i was just a little sad to think about all the extra things we could've gotten if we only had more time. we can only hope we get more owl house content in some form.
two of my personal hangups are that we barely got v screentime and that we never really got to delve into hunter's trauma and see him work through that. i'll just have to assume that offscreen he's seeing a therapist lol. we also didn't get much of him being a part of the noceda family in the finale so i also am just going to assume he bounces around his adoptive parents/families (darius, the clawthornes, and camila)
+ the fact that they made the final 3 episodes spell out thanks for watching makes me want to scream and sob. so much love went into this show. im really going to miss it. there's something about. when people get to make their passion project and share that with the world and they're just so thankful to have gotten the chance and for the support they've received even if they get screwed over. it's very heartwarming to see and makes me really emotional.
also can we all just applaud the crew for not going "friendship and forgiveness is always the answer, even for people who are the scum of the earth" they said F THAT stomp this man's corpse. love everything said about/the actions taken towards belos this episode. he really is one of the best villains i've seen in a long time, not even just in cartoons.
also after having the whole day to process. im pretty disappointed hunter wasn't able to get in on the belos stomping. if anyone deserved to be there it was him. but i understand why they weren't able to do it like that, and time restraints etc etc. i can headcanon that luz and eda saved a scrap of belos to bring back so hunter could stomp on it lol
+ something i connected on my first watch that idk if other people mentioned but luz's titan form feels a little bit like a nod to the bodyswap episode in s1 in which king was in luz's body so she had his eyes and fang.
